Hildi, I'm fine with abstract images and this one seems and awful lot like last months image.Which I liked a great deal Not sure which I prefer but I'd have a tendency to choose one and live with it |

Hey Stephen, Thank you. Like you I'm fine with images that have a a lot of black in them. In certain situations I actually expose for that.
I will take a look at the traces of light and I will try the image with the white stroke.
What I typically do is print the image and then live with it for awhile. I still need to hold it in my hand to get a fuller sense of an image

thank you Margaret, I'm not uncomfortable allowing part of and image to go completely black and as you state., and as Amal suggested it creates an interesting but different image

Amal, Its a very nice shot of a bright eyed lovely child. Really like the bokeh and the framing. Nicely captured
