48 May 18 Reply Thank you very much. As your the 2nd person that brings up the fact that I didn't straighten it, I will rethink the image.
I really don't have a reason other then thats how I shot it
Thanks

48 May 18 Comment Sean, Very familiar with the area. Grow up just south of there and I still have family in the area. The composition is strong, the planks pull my eyes deep into the picture. And the flowers add a wonderful touch of color.
Well executed.

48 May 18 Comment Hildi, Very pretty. I'm a big fan of abstract and of reflection photography. You've achieved both in one photo. Looking forward to seeing more May 12th
48 May 18 Comment W. Neal, Great detail! I also like the crop and how you fill the frame.
Well done

48 May 18 Comment Margaret, Most of what I shoot on the street is candid and this one was. The standing man on the right saw me take the picture and we exchanges smiles. That was the only interaction.

Also I wasn't really looking through the view finder I shot "from the hip" as street photographers and photojournalists say. In my case it was from the chest. Wanted to get the picture before what I was looking at changed

48 May 18 Comment Nancy, Very very nice image. I suspect that it communicates a bit of the cats personality. Her playfulness and attention to you shine through.
Really like the framing and the composition.

48 May 18 Comment Margaret, I'm not a birder by any stretch of the imagination but I do like them and looking at images of them. Well seen and captured! The bird is sharp and clear, like the details.
If I may ask, what lens did you use?
Rich

48 May 18 Comment Hello Beverly, As this is the first set of images I'm commenting on if I mis-step please tell me. I looked back at a few rounds of comments so I think I have a sense of what is expected.

As Stephen said, I too like images like this. Your picture highlights the infinite variety that can occur in objects that at first glance look the same. Your choice of the square format really aids the image
