5 Sep 23 Comment Sophia how lucky are to have this family in your back yard I am sure they posed for you! And you wrote on my image of an alligator ...having these creatures in our back yard almost everyday ... I see that yu live in SC so it must be on the water. I envy you your location.

5 Sep 23 Comment No question this is a standout as a B&W image, and the composition--from the lighthouse to the rock to Castle Point is excellent and then add the little white fence--what a bonus! Thanks for the info on it. I was interested in reading about it in Wikipedia, that it is said to be the epitome of NZ's S. Island climbing scene, and has a population of 57. Great picture Mark! 5 Sep 23 Comment Despite my fully enlarging this, perhaps it is my monitor , but I could not find a trace of halo around the bird. Pete I think this would do well in a Nature exh. the water patterns give the image an unusual look without the customary focusing on the bird it has the elements of a winner Sep 5th

43 Sep 23 Reply Harley PSA (and some clubs) do indeed have exhibitions that one may enter nature pics and they must not include the hand of man, but DD allows it

NATURE PLUS. Instead of the restrictive PSA rules presenting nature, these images of animals and other images from the natural world may show the "hand of man." Hybrid plants, animals at zoos and game farms, nature scenes with a fence, and other images not allowed in the Nature Division can be presented in this group with as much editing as one wishes, no restrictions, as long as the theme is of nature		 Sep 24th
