5 Nov 22 Comment A lovely image Pete, so restful to the eye, but I can hear the judge's remark were it entered in competition--it is cut completely in half. (Judges seem to dwell on this placement). I have no preference for any of the changes made each is lovely Nov 5th
5 Nov 22 Comment Certainly caught at the peak moment as you describe. I can't make up my mind if I like the extreme darkening of the BG but as Mark commented it does appear to increase the saturation. Regardless it is a great shot. Nov 5th
5 Nov 22 Comment She is lovely David so much so that it is hard add anything constructive. I do like the removal of the gargoyle-like heads that see to be appearing out of her crown. I cannot identify the dark blueish part that I see above her basket, could it possibly be that the she is wearing jeans under the dress? Nov 5th

71 Nov 22 Comment Nigel, our images in DD are not all about improving/changing them for competition sometimes it is only about a pic you took merely because you liked it and wanted to share it with fellow members. It is a lovely scene and I can imagine that you wished you could disembark to explore this charming village
