The forest BG is an inspiration I have taken many pics at a Renaissance fair and there are always people in the way. I rather like Bev's presentation since it does draw more attention to the figure. The antlers are so slight that the omission doesn't bother me. However, good work Rick. |

20K images! WOW! Your patience is undeniable. It's a great shot, the bird's expression just adds so much to what is already a marvellous capture-- good work! |

Looking this again and again I can't agree more than that which Candia wrote, particularly allowing the green to come forth. Nice work |

It doesn't bother me that the subject isn't looking at the camera (since he is a religious figure we can imagine that his thoughts are more devotedly placed!) but I do think the changes you made are an improvement. I would like to have seen the golden figure in the BG blurred even more, but on the other hand perhaps it adds to the story of the monk's surroundings. |

A lovely sunset and you did obtain your desired silhouette effect--the water is particularly good but the overall image to my eye is it needs more. It's not a great thing to say in light of such beautiful nature shot, but one tends to become somewhat nonchalant. I have heard judges say--"not another sunset" |

Great action shot David, this type of image is difficult to say the least but you caught the moment and the various expressions on the players faces helps more with the story. As for cropping the part that bothers me the most is the green shirted player |
