I understand your wanting to bring attention to the Civic Theatre but unless one is familiar with the site the model is somewhat dwarfed by the surroundings. But in all fairness you did, in your description, make note that the image was highlighting the theatre and its place in history, so although as a portrait I prefer the vertical shot the image must be applauded for its intent; I would however dim the brightest lights. Overall Mark a lovely presentation. |

A lovely casual-type portrait, one would not think that this was a workshop. I am bothered by only one thing and this is the awkward position of her foot. I actually sat on the floor in this position and found it to be very unnatural and uncomfortable. But I have to compliment you the presentation the BG is nicely blurred and and overall it is very pleasant to look at.
I think Pete's darkening of the BG somewhat is a good addition. |

Haven't seen one of your bird pics for quite a while NIck This is stunning even having the catch light in the eye, whether added later or not, it adds significantly. Good work! |

I found this a bit confusing Pete, my eye wandering all over the image, certainly the white flower is predominant and comes across as the main subject but even that, partially covered by the leaf below, doesn't hold my interest |

I am not a fan of abstracts and I find it very difficult to comment on them. Given that I have to say that I prefer, as a total image, the RH side of blue and black without the building. Sorry I couldn't be more effusive. |

Excellent catch David, I go back and forth between yours and Pete's crop, showing just the two players, and I cannot make up my mind which I prefer. |
