The ridges of the FG caused me to wonder where you were able to stand and take the picture. it appears as though it was shot from the air although I realise from your description it was not. A beautiful shot Mark--well worth the return visit. Good work! |

Freddie a lovely blend of the colour purple. But unlike Mark, I have to confess I am not a devotee of most abstracts. I realise abstracts are well recognised and of artistic merit but I cannot comment intelligently on them; I am sure other members will be more forthcoming. |

A great shot David. I can think of nothing to improve/add to it. I would not have recognised that they were mating. |

This is an excellent image Pete and is unquestionably more so presented as monochrome. The man's facial expression adds to the solemnity of the scene. I find it interesting that so many of our DD members take a shot of something that is easily bypassed and when brought to our attention is most thought provoking. |

Yes Mark the removal of the yellow caste is much better. It was a white plate and I should have worked more to present it as you have. Thanks, and I am glad it brought back pleasant memories for you |

I like the red stripes on the eggcup, and maybe add the red on the spoon, thanks. |

David has certainly improved your image--16 layers! My first thought was to rid it of the huge mass of the dark area on the RH side. I don't think the cat has any bearing on the picture although since it is in the original it was there when you took it. The hugging shows a sentiment which is the subject of the image.Although it is an interesting scene, in my opinion, it is not one that would gain acceptance in an exhibition. |
