Sorry to be so late In replying Stephen. Odd that you should notice this. I often use edit/stroke to frame a picture and for some reason --and I have no idea why-- I couldn't get a stroke on so as you surmised I just used the brush to draw a line around it, holding down the shift key to keep the line straight.
Thanks for your many comments in all the groups--this is what DD is about. |

I totally agree it does need a base. I did try getting the base of the bowl above the bottom but it had a stand and somehow I couldn't get it right so opted for excluding it. |

Would like to have seen the original of this since there were marked changes made and you did a lot of work on this. The youngster's pose, leaning forward, and his grip on the wheel gives the impression of concentration on his "driving" It is a pity that his face is turned away, his expression would have been most interesting, but it is a lovely idea.. |

You apparently achieved that which you set out to do, zooming during exposure is tricky. The duplication of the walls in the centre gives the image an eerie feeling . Good work! |

Welcome to our group Bob. Your description is most intriguing. I thought at first this was something many of us have used, the polar coordinates filters. Guy Davies is a a long time member of our DD group 4 and Willa was with us a few years ago. You certainly made an interesting convert from the lowly freesia, a slim border might add to it somewhat. Well done! |

Another fun one Nick--oh how I miss playing tennis, but the vertigo just won't allow it! Your whimsical imagination is always fun to see. My one objection is that the ball is a bit too large. but you gave me a good laugh. |

You did a good job Steve of getting rid of the white part but the bottom LH part, as in the original, could be brought out more. A good facial expression. |

This is great Pete. I see a woman's figure -with what --a big hairdo????? One can envision all sorts of shapes from the smoke, but although I stared at it on and off it still came back to a woman. I know you had fun with this. I will have to try it again Here is a rough one I did sometime ago and it reminded me of a giraffe I had in my files. You have to enlarge it to see itr properly. |

If you are OTTSteve then I wish there were more like you. You run your group so well and a group is only as good as its admin and you are the best! Keep up the good work.
(OTT, over the top, I happened to think that maybe this is a term not used in the US) |

Steve I loved the history of this, adds so much more and the addition of the bluebells-- I remember as a youngster, gathering armfuls do they still grow in such profusion? I don't think they grow anywhere in the US.
What you have done with the various images is so good; the path going through the centre is a bonus, but my first thought when i looked at the image is the staticity of the three bouquets, somehow the two bluebells leaning toward the centre is OTT.
Just my opinion because there is no doubt this is a beautiful image. |

This is a nice image Salvador but it doesn't come under the category of Portrait I see that your bio has been updated. |

Your capture was well timed, this is a beautiful shot I wish that you could have moved further to the left so that the tree would not appear to be so close to the bridge, but a little separated--but isn't that always the case--it was probably not possible. Good work!

Superb image Rajani. I have seen shots this bridge before but yours certainly ranks with the best of them. Particularly good is the framing of the man on the bicycle. Well done! |

Tom, you did an super job here, and I like the setup pic but can't find the wasp in it-- I am obviously missing something, or isn't it supposed to be shown here? |

This such a great shot I can offer no suggestions as to change/improvement, the flow from left to right, the blue flower framed by the white in the BG, the slight separation of the bug from the flower--it is outstanding. Well done! |

Such an interesting blossom. The sharpness is all the way which enhances its beauty. There's no question that the work detail you used certainly bought your subject to fruition. Well done! |

A good insect image here Bill, but I think you might have used a different setting, tried a couple of different ones perhaps, since the sharpness is on a couple of black spots but falls off toward his back |
