Bill this beautiful! There is nothing I could find to change/add to this image. I find it strange how judge's scoring can be so diversified--a 10! for shame! |

Erik this superb not only as an image but the story with it. This month, Pete Morton in my group 5, thought he had included too much "story: with his image, but this only goes to enhance one's image.
When I first looked at the image, prior to reading about it, I noticed the composition-- the flow of spectators --great!
This is truly an emotional image and I am so glad that you got a response from other group members Thank you so much Erik for sharing this moving moment. |

Oh Rick this is a beautiful scene, oh course the man's wonderment at this surroundings just completes a 'wall hanger' Nothing I can add to improve/change except to remove the black opening on the LH side. Good work! |

Oh, Nick what can I say? another great use of a model and imagination galore. Only criticism, remove the white spot on the LH side, the others are not bothersome. |

The jouster is marvellous his expression, the mouth open to emphasise his concentration--great! But I did wonder about the omission of the horse. I read the word 'gallop' so I knew they were there. Your initial image is the best. Thanks for the explanation is adds importantly to one's understanding of the image. Good work Pete |

I love this "story.' The child off to the left, although she is small, is the subject here, her stance and the look on her face tells the tale. I didn't particularly mind the blurriness of the cheerleader since it indicates movement but the girl behind the cheerleader is distracting and the writing to the L of the girl could be cropped. Good eye Phil to catch this |

Certainly an original concept David. I think the person would rather be escaping downstairs then up, further into the melee! As Pete wrote the more one looks the more there is to see; it certainly is a remarkable image I can add nothing to change |

Super image Jesse, taken at Wakodahatchee? Although the vignette is a bit overwhelming, in this case I rather like it, being so dramatic it serves as a frame. A bit more explanation, other than the tech details, of its capture would be nice. Well done! |

Good work Mark! Clever idea to add a snake to the image. Without reading the title I thought it was a flower with a manipulated stamen. |

This turned into a great Monochrome giving much more of a boost to a familiar skyline. Your use of the Topaz filter was an excellent choice. |

Nothing more than a peaceful scene gives one the feeling of tranquillity. You have a good S-curve in the water and although I am not a devotee of painterly effects it does add here to the overall image. I can't see anything to add/change. Nicely done. |

This is excellent. I too have watched this being done and your take on it is so simple in the concentration on the action without any additional objects in the image. Well done. |

Zeras do convert marvelously to Mono. I see another image here but it needs to be more in focus. |

You have successfully brought out the FG without diminishing the mystery of the sunrise/sunset. I like the lessened shine of the rise/fall of the sun. Well done. |

This image is indeed a challenge! Not so much perhaps for the Monochrome conversion but for its content. There is so much here I don't quite know where to look next. I would suppose it looks better as a monochrome but hard to judge without seeing the original image. |

These circular staircases are always a joy to photograph and the unusual angle you have used here takes it out of the ordinary. I don't think the brighter light at the top is a detraction, if anything I think it adds to the scene. Well done |

Good composition and the colours are lovely . I do believe that you could have added a little texture to the petals to make them stand out.
And may I add: some more could be added to the "About the Image" I frequently remind members to remember the guidelines (at the top of your home page)...

How fortunate to have the bird in your sights for so long. I can imagine the number of shots you took and the one you submitted is excellent. One tiny nit-picker! I would crop a small amount off the bottom or darken the bright spot in the lower LH corner. |
