The argument about using another's art is always with us, there is one in another group this month. I see no harm in this and the juxtaposition of the two subjects makes for a very pleasing image. I do wish the man was more in focus but nevertheless it is still a good image. The shoe being off adds a story to the scene. Good work. |

Nick you have certainly got the most out of the zoo giraffes, how many do yu have in your files? Once again a humourous image You are always so adept in adding shadows and this time I don't see any. |

What a wonderful opportunity this was. Did yu ever get to go back and catch the feeding of the young?
I agree with Pete that the darkening of the FG is a good addition and perhaps it could be darkened even more, nevertheless it is an excellent capture. Well done. |

This is quite different from most of the water shots I have seen I have actually taken dozens, hundreds maybe? water shots so i know how long one spends on this. I have never heard of the trigger and valve set you purchased. Someone in our CC does marvellous water drop shots and i took a lesson from her, but never quite equalled her technique. YU did a good job and keep at it Pete, it's a fun table top project. |

I am looking for the coin Phil, I know it is there since the players are glancing up at it and you mention it being in midair. I think this is a great shot and can't see anything that might improve this. You appear to have mastered the technique you were trying for. Well done |

David how you manage to make such masterpieces out of the mundane astonishes me. Not only is she a solitary figure sitting, perhaps waiting for someone, but the frilly things she is wearing, and on the chair and even her shoe/boot gives one cause for thought as to where, so dressed, she is going. This image gives one so much to contemplate, is there a bond between the the woman and the man? She is not reading the paper is she 'giving him the eye?' there are countless stories that can be imagined which make this such a marvellous image. |

Nellie I was delighted to see this image featuring Howard. What a delightful man he was, always willing to pose where and whenever one asked and was a popular model at many of the conferences. He was a dear soul and one of the people i looked forward to seeing --he will be missed
And too, you have done such a good job on this image Nellie, congratulations! This is one of many I have of him. |

well composed Stu but it needs a greater DoF. The winged figure needs to be completely sharp. Also there is a good deal of blur on the LH side of the hood ornament and the spots on the RH side need attention. |

Bob this may a variety of the Pitcher plant, did it have water in the pod? I have one in my garden (Florida) and the pods are always filled with water, it takes little care but needs watering often. I submitted this in my group 5 in September |
