Phil I have to say that the term 'green screen photos' is completely foreign to me so I looked it up (isn't it marvellous how you can find anything on the web)

Haven't watched this I still don't understand it. I am sure you succeeded in what you were trying to accomplish but for comment you will have to rely on others in the group who are more astute than I. |

When I got finished with these very detailed instructions which took me so many days to do, it occurred to me that I had done this years ago merely by copying the image flipping it 180 deg and again horizontal, added a ripple filter and voila! much the same result! |

Clever, Nick. There is a lesson in this, when you're stuck for a submission look around the house! I like the FG pumpkins more than the BG ones. I think a repeat of the FG getting smaller and smaller would have worked well. |

You don't miss a trick David. I would never have thought of adding a layer of snow as a texture to this image but it certainly does tone down the incidentals of the BG. I think everything is right in this image, I particularly like the emphasis on those items you brought to the forefront with a layer mask. The man with his hand up to his face is so deliberate that one would think he is turning from the photographer so without the title one might take a different perspective on the image. I find the dress sartorially splendid, almost of another age, the flower in his buttonhole, the huge cigar, the whiteness of the clothes, the elegance of the walking sticks, the beautiful white hats, the brown and white shoes, the black shoes so polished all with the contrast of sitting on the pavement. Well done David. |

I am glad the tide was out, it gives so much more detail to the beached boats. To my mind it does lend itself more to Monochrome. I cannot see anything to change or add to this image. The angle you chose--the front hull leading to the other two, forming a triangle is superb. Well done Mike! |

Such a good PJ image, with the man holding out the bills ready to pay. The one thing that is distracting to me is the LH window; I am spending too much time trying to figure out what is in it and do I really need to know--is it part of the whole image, or could it be blackened or greyed over in order to stem my concentration? I'm answering my question, yes,I think it could. Interesting to hear what the others have to say. |

This is lovely Rich, but I wonder if perhaps the blue of the girls clothes blend in a little too much with the image. If the colours are changed it could be that it would draw too much attention to the girl rather than the sunrise which it is subject of the image. I find the horizon line somewhat too dominant and would like to see either the sea or the sky cloned in to mask this. A small point because as I say this is truly a beautiful image--the capture of the sun is so perfect. |

Why a marvellous 'front door' view. Here in Florida we look oui at a dreary little pond, although it does attract birds and our FL clouds are quite lovely. Isn't the grass always greener.....? |

Stunningly beautiful image. Title?
Again, more detail.
I would suggest the group reads the GUIDELINES at the top of each home page, particularly the paragraph --IMAGE DESCRIPTION "HOW I DID IT" |

Detail Mark? He looks as though he is about to burn his beard. If you could have changed the angle to bring the object down a little...but I know sometimes this is not always possible. |

Beautifully sharp Gloria Agree, it is better flipped. For the benefit of the group 'processed' could use some explanation. Camera info is good but detail adds that amount of info that is what DD is about. |

Quite remarkable! and I wonder where it was taken--without the explanation one would wonder what it could be. |

Oh Brian such a unique idea--I love it, and the other contributions are magic, all it needs now is the music! |
