Yes Nick, a small point, you could have eliminated the door shadow but ideally another of Nick's keen imaginary pics. As usual pure Muskovac! |

A special God-given moment and the child's first breath, looks like a cry, is all the more to be treasured. I am sure the mother was thrilled--and how lucky she is to have such good 'parents' Bless you all. |

David when look at this image, as with many of your others I feel as though you have reached the person's soul. This quite different than your usual submissions and as usual you have produced a masterpiece I can find nothing to add to what the others have written Great work David. |

Yes Bev another interesting look but I am always aware of what friend Nick Muskovac says about items seeming to float without a surface, he opts for a base and I rather agree.

Judges frequently speak of a bulls eye in an image, and certainly it does draw ones eye away from the image as a whole but there are times....and this is one of them. The addition of the bird, placed as it is, is the perfect balanced inclusion, and B&W is the right choice
Well done Mike and welcome to the group. |

You did a marvellous job on lightening the man's face. You say "extensive processing in camera raw" I assume you mean just adjusting the sliders and I know one tends to forget all the steps taken. I do agree with Rich the about the only change to make is the "FIRST TO FIRE". Good work Pete |

Wanted also to mention that marvellous tail and the black parts. I would like to see them "glowed" rather than the black as is. |

Fun to play with filters. I've yet to find something to use with Topaz Glow it but does fit here. Good idea to use the Christmas lights as a BG. The black spot in the front of her chest is apparently the toy you said was deleted, but it bothers me in that it deliberately draws my eye.
Good thinking to use the cat as a Glow subject. |
