An excellent image. I do like Stephen's mono but prefer the colour, to me it has more life. Good job on the BG but have to agree with Richard re the red spot. Well done Oliver. |

This is indeed, as Mervyn noted, a work of art. Nothing could be added to improve this image. Well done! I can only add what a pity the details of its production have slipped your mind. |

Larry it is such a great image perhaps it is not worth playing around with. The blue in the FG echoes the blue in the sky and what you did from the original is stunning. If you REALLY wanted to crop it an inch off the bottom would suffice, but it's a moot point |

How lucky you are Larry to live so close to the Everglades. I have been down from my home in Palm Beach County a few times, but not often enough. I cannot add anything to improve/change this image. The colours are magnificent. One very small suggestion--although the horiz. line is not dead centre I would still move it up or down a little by either cropping a bit off the bottom or the top. |

Some trip and I can imagine your delight with the scenes--now to catalogue them eh?
The FG is spectacular but I find the red of the BG almost too much, but I suppose this is an accurate rendition of what you saw. The fact that it is blurred from a brush fire is part of the record shot but it doesn't enhance the overall image and in competition the judge would not necessarily know the reason for the blurring. The blue sky is a beautiful BG for the outstanding brilliance of the image.

Absolutely not too much comment Michael on "how I did it" This is exactly what is liked in DD (as opposed to the one-liner "I took this in my back yard")
You brought out the frog beautifully from the dark original. His expression is priceless! I would have cropped it a little on the LH side so that he is not quite so centred. I am not sure what the blur is below his leg. You blurred the BG very well and the branch on the RH side doesn't bother me, although I can see others might object to it. Nice work. |

You certainly did find the right angle Frans, a beautiful image and the runner adds that little bit of interest to mark it from the ordinary. Well done! |
