Rick, you have put your finger on it so well. If you go back through the months, before you joined us, and look at David's work, you will see that most of the images are as you describe--'a story in scenes that most photographers wouldn't even see' |

There is no question David that this is indeed a well needed improvement. Thank you |

I looked the "man on the bus" such an interesting idea, no wonder it claimed so many awards |

Phil, these junk cars have been a favourite of PSA'ers for sometime and I believe that there is a place in Georgia where there are fields of them. Although I like the composition of the image, the blue colour is not appealing to me. As both David and Oliver remarked there is a need of separation between the car and the BG and both have offered suggestions, I can add nothing more to their comments. |

David how you come up with these marvellous PJ images each month baffles me! One thing I notice is you have obviously taken this from a distance and I doubt that you used a tripod, so...hand held at ISO 100, and his shirt is so sharp! This works so well as a monochrome. So well done David, I can only stand in awe. |

Yes, Richard there are so many shaggy faces these days and I shudder to think of those bristles against a baby's face, but rather than returning to the age of apes I would say it is the 19th century, Queen Victoria's day; and as a further comment I wish manners were of the era. |

Nick you've done it again-- a great composite, the sky, the bricks are a marvellous addition here, but I do have to nitpick and whether it is the pose or ? but her hips seem to be unflattering to her upper body. And perhaps your head is agog at the sight of a beautiful girl on your car but it does seems a bit crooked. |

This a beautifully peaceful scene without the visible footsteps of man so that an air of mystery is displayed. The cropping is good and the lightning of the bird house and the disused gate makes this a lovely image. I can see nothing more to add to make it more interesting. |

Agreeing wholeheartedly with Oliver you did indeed do a masterful job of 'building'. The doors here are the prime subject and as magnificent as they are I am not especially moved by them. The guards certainly add greatly to the image but I would like to have seen them more in focus. As matter of interest where was it taken? |

Ian I have seen many polar coordinate images and have tried a few myself, but I must say this is the best one yet. Marie has a nice idea of the model looking into a mirror but I prefer the full circle as presented. Good work! |
