David, this isn't an image that I would enter in a comp. but was asking for enlightenment as to how you approached it--and you answered it, thank you

You're right David the crop is a bit severe, but I think the window still is too overpowering. I knew that Bobby needed to be darkened and wasn't sure how to do it, I suppose you used a mask? |

I prefer David's presentation Joyce, eliminating the large cloud at the top and toning down the blue sky looks better to my eye. |

The fact that you left in and straightened the bars on the RH side adds particularly to this image. I might have cropped it out and what a mistake that would have been! You have such an eye for capturing the ordinary and turning it into classic. Beautiful work David. |

A great job of enlarging the bird with his prey. I would have liked to see the BG's white spots darkened a little. I use a grey tone to brush these in and it works well for me |

A most unusual angle of the bird in flight, the eye is beautifully sharp. excellent capture! |

A lovely skyline view. I wish that more of the city had been included in being a little closer, but from where you were it was probably not possible. The clouds are a great feature but to my eye, they are a little overdone. I enlarged the image to discover what the object was along the shoreline and I see it as a chair, it is a good eye-catcher but too small as to be unidentifiable without enlargement |

Marie, I think the frame is too ornate; the colour fits well but the size dwarfs the delicate flower, the motion of the falling petal is a good idea |
