Yes the whole situation was so majestic, few tour vans were around us, we were feeling the typical wind flow and the natural sound coming out from surrounding trees, birds were flying around and chirping but rest all were calm. Those big animals were staring at each other, like testing of mental power - who could gauge first about other party's immediate next move!
I am sure in post processing lot can be done on cropping and enhancing to pop up the image as you all suggested and I appreciate all of the comments above. I am still learning various skills and tricks of digital darkroom. |

No picture can do proper justice to the vastness of the falls and water intensity. Though the second picture is better compared to the first one, but I liked the first one too. |

Nice location. You have captured the scene very well with right DOF. Richard's edited version is better no doubt but not always real situation/environment/lighting are not so perfect. So I liked the way you captured. |

Last summer Mono Lake was in my itinerary but Tiago Pass was closed, so we skipped this area for later year. The evening color came out good but I am sure sunrise or sunset around that area will be stunning. Good photography. |

Thanks Richard for your editing and suggestions. Liked it. It was definitely not the most favorable lighting situation but the photo opportunity was too good to miss. It's like an epic.
Outside USA and Canada I have covered Kenya/Tanzania and Patagonia around Chile and Argentina. |
