The mono conversion has removed the holiday snap feel and given the image impact. The sky and clouds are greatly improved. Lots of detail on the side of the plane showing the rivets that hold it together! Good range of brightness levels. Maybe a small bit of contrast would deepen some blacks. |

Looking at the background is really important when taking portraits. This is well timed and the eyes are well engaged with the camera in the nice sideways view. I think that toning down the green on the right would make a differnce to keep our attention in the face. i believe that the face could be brightened a little too. The white blob on the right could be removed as well. |

Interesting capture of the landscape of this park. The overexposed sky is a shame, and very hard to adjust. i usually under expose in camera by at least 1 stop when i have sky or clouds in an image. You can always bring up the darker areas. |

Good environment shot coming out of the burrow. And the light is nicely on the exposed side. The beak area seems a little soft to me. He was probably moving. i tend to use a higher ISO to help get a faster shutter |

Great moody shot. The diagonal road and building verticals work well together. The variation of the brightness thru image is quite pleasing and it is what created the mood. The bright light is fine. (the white dot is strange) |

You have captured the isolation of the place with absolutely no activity. With the grass in the FG as subject, I think it could be a bit sharper, but i guess it could be moving in the breeze. You could try cropping a little from top, left and bottom to focus more on the grass. |
