27 Jul 22 Comment Background is always there for all sorts of racing and shows and rodeos etc. I look upon it is as putting the main subject in context. The mono conversion certainly removes a lot of distraction and allows us to focus on the action of the subject. Jul 26th
27 Jul 22 Comment Nice composition with the V shape butterfly over the colourful flowers.
The yellow flower is a little bright, though i don't think it needs any more detail as it is part of the background.
Good detail where needed in the body and legs.

A suggestion: rotate the image so the stem comes out near the bottom corner and crop in a little closer. Should be bolder.		 Jul 26th
27 Jul 22 Comment The composite has worked well, though there is fringing along the left arm. The girl is well positioned to one side, nicely on a third. Jul 26th
27 Jul 22 Comment Yes, Cropping off only the top dark bit is important.
Probably including it in the frame in camera has caused the auto exposure system to over expose the whole image.
Once cropped it is a really nice composition and story of the egret in its environment.		 Jul 26th
