A good image with patterns, lines, light and contrast all working well. The driftwood stands out well. |

Love the butterfly. Lots of detail, colour and patterns. It must have stood still for you. Good job on the background, nice blur without increased noise.
I quite like the the other flowers as I like my eye to wander around an image to evaluate the scene. And the colours are interesting. They give the butterfly a whole platform to explore.

Good composition of the river through the rocks and meandering into the distance. The V shape of the sky and mountain works well. To me the darker right side helps the composition of the river moving away from us. To me the left side is a little too bright and colours over cooked, but maybe that is what it is. |

The eyes make the image and really stand out. Seems to me that the background is quite noisy rather than blurred. I find the log a little bright and it tends to dominate the bird. I think the softness of the feathers and beak reduce the impact a little. Surprised you were at f10 in low light.

I like the mono version. I look at this as art photography, and try to feel the emotion and impact the image conveys.
An to me the details of highlight and blacks are not too important. Looks good, feels good.

AN interesting study of the relaxed lion. He is well positioned in the frame that demonstrates his captive environment. There looks like some interesting colours hidden in those rock walls.
I think some adjustments to contrast etc might help the lion stand out a bit more. And the lighter areas at the bottom could be more subdued.
Two eyes would have been good.
