27 Feb 20 Comment An interesting travel shot that captures some action and tells us about the place at the same time. The shadow of the legs works really well. It is possible that toning down the brightness of the road would increase the viewers attention on the horse and cart. Feb 12th
27 Feb 20 Comment I like the curved line of the canal. The still water effect is quite unusual for what presumably would be a busy canal. It seems to me that the processing has removed a little colour and contrast. To me the sky is a little bright and dominating. Feb 12th
27 Feb 20 Comment The leading lines of the branches from the bottom and side work well. It seems that the colours are very natural.Over all the birds are a little soft, I would have liked a bit more sharpness in the feathers. Always difficult with moving birds. You might consider using a much higher iso to get a faster shutter speed. Higlight are a problem and probably hard to fix with an adjustment that is "Nature" allowed. A crop of the rhs would remove the big one. Feb 12th
27 Feb 20 Comment Photos of flying birds is really difficult. You have done well to get the head and body relatively clear given the speed the duck was flying. I like the composition with the 2nd duck close behind. And the extra space in front was important. Feb 12th
27 Feb 20 Comment I think this is a nice composition. I like the way the coloured tree winds up and away from the delineated bottom. I believe the colours have been well handled to make them stand out without over saturating. It may be that the rails and posts are a little over sharpened, and the blurring on the left has overlapped a post. Instead of blurring you might consider just reducing the brightness of the background area Feb 12th
