27 Jul 19 Comment I think that your colour rework is much more interesting and the side lighting starts to have impact. The composition of the bird on the rock on the wall works well. Of course now the background sky is a little noisy. Jul 21st
27 Jul 19 Comment Very good action shot and composition of the cuckoo. I really like the open feathers. You have really caught the bird focused on the pole. Good story. I know these shots are hard to get. The softness of the bird and the noisy background are a distraction. Jul 21st
27 Jul 19 Comment The layers in the landscape work well (foreground, midground, background and sky). There are subtle diagonal lines going up left to right that drag the eye across. The ominous dark clouds are very powerful. To me there is still a little too much sky, reducing this a little may emphasize the flow of the landscape Jul 21st
27 Jul 19 Comment The vineyards, gardens , rolling hills and chateau make a very nice composition and the colours are well balanced and natural. The framing through the gate is clearly part of what you are trying to do, presumably to emphasize the chateau, and that does focus on that as the main subject. The clouds in the sky are well handled with no obvious burn out.
To me the gate does chop the composition up a little, particularly the chateau. You could try some selectively lightening of the chateau to help it stand out more.		 Jul 21st
27 Jul 19 Comment I quite like the softness,especially of the bow and violin. The unusual angle of the shot from the side has caught the concentration of the young lady. It seems me that the skin and hair have a bit of a colour tinge. The biggest issue in my opinion is that the cloning behind the top of the head is far too obvious. Jul 5th
