41 Apr 25 Reply I often am happy with one aspect of an image and forget to circle back to address the details. It's often hard to see anything to enhance your images so I was stretching. Apr 19th
41 Apr 25 Reply Nadia, Thanks for the suggestion. I think I am going to move on to the next image but agree the filter could tie things together some. Apr 19th
41 Apr 25 Reply Hazel, The storks are as confused as I am with where I placed them. Apr 19th
41 Apr 25 Reply Thanks Tom. I'm not sure I like the image! Apr 19th
41 Apr 25 Comment Nadia, Ominous! I Iove the simplicity of this powerful image. The angle of the dead tree creates a very powerful commanding presence as a subject matter and the birds imply death. There are a few birds that are in front of the tree that are very small suggesting they are further away and this creates visual confusion when leaving them in front of the tree, I'd consider removing those few or changing their size to match distance. 41 Apr 25 Comment Tom, A playful and beautiful image from my favorite hat model. I love the golden light in the background and how your foreground portrait is nicely framed. Some minor issues. You erased part of your 4th and 5th digit on the left and left some of the grey table top when you cut and pasted yourself, minor tweaks. Apr 10th
41 Apr 25 Comment Hazel, This is a very pleasing image. All of the elements come together nicely to create a calming and colorful image that captures the sunset through a different perspective. I don't find the smudges problematic. A cleaner glass may have created a more pristine image but we have to work with what we have in front of us. Nicely done. Apr 10th

54 Apr 25 Reply Thanks Peggy, Good suggestions. Apr 26th
54 Apr 25 Comment Alan, I love seeing your creative process and the transformations you've done. I would love to see a show in a gallery based on one image that is taken down many paths. Both sunrise and original 3 would look great in a gallery. Apr 10th
54 Apr 25 Comment Here's the image I was thinking of Apr 10th
54 Apr 25 Comment Kirsti, This is a playful and creative image. This reminds me a little of Ant-man and Wasp. you could certainly develop this in a more photorealistic way having her flying over a city scape or in outer space. Apr 10th
54 Apr 25 Comment Matt, You've captured a nice collection of cars here. It sounds like it hit the mark in what you were shooting for and that is the most important part of the creative process. There are many ways one can take a collage. I also like how Kirsti would take the image if you wanted to have a "subject". Apr 10th
54 Apr 25 Comment Peggy, Joy captures it. I thought the nursery rhyme "ring around the rosey..." as these lambs seem to be circling the flower in such a playful way. I see a children's book in your future. Apr 10th
54 Apr 25 Reply Alan, Thanks for the additional feedback , excellent suggestions. Apr 10th
54 Apr 25 Reply Alan, I played around with the image a little more. What do you think of this version of contemplation? Apr 10th
54 Apr 25 Comment Kirsti, I agree, I would likely have not added original 3 if it had not been for the 3 image requirement for group 54. I do find adding a third image often forces me to stretch as an artist, sometimes for the better, other times it is redundant. Apr 10th
54 Apr 25 Reply Alan, Thanks for sharing your honest opinion. I agree, the original image, which was one of my first HDR explorations, has a lot of intensity. Sometimes images for group 54 are explorations that don't rise above the original. It's fun to explore ideas even if they don't achieve launch. Apr 10th
54 Apr 25 Reply Matt, Thanks, I agree the combination is a bit off balance. I struggled to finish an image before leaving for a family vacation. Looking on my computer I see I had done an alternative which has the trees more alligned. Apr 10th
