Kathy, I did experience a few magical nights. I will likely be sharing images from that trip in the coming months.

Kathy, I was just out in the Eastern Sierra shooting shots of the milky way and that darn ISS was in a bunch of my images. This is still an awesome shot so don't let me comments detract from a job well done. |

Henry, You did a great job with your selection tool and feathering as things appear very clean. My only suggestion would be to spend some time thinking about story. Often, placing the objects so the eyes of the subject guide the viewer on where to look. For instance, you could have the women looking at the sculpture if positioned differently (such as lower down on the right). I also might crop the image differently or add a different sky as the current sky is bland and doesn't add much (and there is a distracting element that was left in in the upper right corner). |

Lisa, You continue to amaze me with your range of skills and execution. Nicely done. Can you share some on how you lit the lighthouse and building? |

Jan, Nicely done. A very pleasing handling of the subject matter. I have nothing to add except praise. |

Maryellen, I would say your "Playing" was very successful. The twirly pattern is very strong and beautiful. It's hard to compete with the natural beauty of a cat but you've succeeded here. |

Kathy, This is an outstanding photo on many levels. I am disappointed I didn't get out soon enough to take a photo of the comet. Dave adds a nice touch to this image. I love the purple hues. My only suggestion(based purely on personal preference, so take it or leave it) might be to clone out the ISS streak as I find it distracting on an esthetic level (although it is cool on another level) |

Kathy, Great suggestions. I also thought it looked like a birthday cake. Now I have even more ideas to explore! |

Alan, This reminds me of those optical illusion books which show objects that are the same size but appear different due to receding lines. For some reason, this image doesn't grab my attention enough. I have this desire to place the women from the original 1 into the landscape as they seem more interesting to me with the flowing fabric. |

Betty, I like this one. This plant reminds of the pitcher plants we have here in California. They are known as carnivorous plants so it suggests she is being eaten on this side of the pond. The cutie pies proportions seem slightly off (i.e. she seems a bit too big). I also might consider a subtle drop shadow to make her look a little more natural |

Kathy, I like everything about this image from the awesome perspective, to the lighting to the provocative theme. I wouldn't change anything. One minor suggestion. It appears there are some stray elements from the outside building at the top of the window in the back that extend unnaturally beyond the frame of the window. |

Aavo, I like your departure here. I'm sure Alan will be proud. I like the overall theme and layout and have a few suggestions. The door way doesn't make sense as it is partially opaque and it cuts off paintings in an unnatural way. I would consider it being lower. The older man has an orange hue from the cabin he is in that does not match the lighting of the gallery. |

Peggy, I like how the crow feels with the white background but don't feel it works well with the flower or lizard. I wonder if a different background might balance everything out better. Or consider working on the flower more as it is so contrasty compared with the mellow bird. |
