Kathy, After hearing so many people talk about Topaz I finally bought one of their series. Now, if I can get it to work with photoshop I'll be set. |

Henry, Thanks, an excellent suggestion. I am going to check in with Lisa to learn her technique as she nailed it. |

Lisa, Thanks for your enhancements. I don't own the topaz filters. Which set would you recommend? |

Lisa, Your macro photography is excellent. I have to admit I do prefer the original but I like your experimentation. You remind me I need to play around more with some of the filters as I've been feeling a bit stuck creatively lately. |

Jan, It looks like you already have a lot of proficiency with Corel Painter. It would have been nice to see the original image to see the magic you've done. Keep at it with this program. |

Maryellen, This is a wonderful departure. I love the colors and movement you've created. I like how you've started integrating the twirl filter and the bird, particularly the one with the large orange eye. My only recommendation is to keep playing with that integration to make it more naturalistic as I could see some award winning images in your future with this process. |

Henry, It's great you are experimenting with so many different techniques. The colors and movement are fun. All of these explorations are tools you can draw on forever, keep playing. |

This idea is also interesting but I suspect most people will get distracted by the angled lines and it may draw attention away from the background. I am definitely going to rework the image with a light cloud |

Peggy, I always appreciate how deeply you view my images. You see so many of the little details that many of my friends don't notice. I really like your suggestions and believe the lighter cloud fits better with the intent of the image. Thanks! |

Alan, Thanks for your feedback. In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic my image takes on a new vibe, it was more inspired from a mystical place rather than a dark place but who knows how the unconscious speaks |

Betty, Sorry, if you look at original 2 there is no dog, nor much head. I kind of like no head as it's as if his "head is in the clouds"as the image conveys, to me, the process of being caught up in the spiritual dimension. I realize messing with figurative images makes people uncomfortable sometimes. |

Alan, I feel this is a very effective and beautifully crafted image. The triangular orientation of the three subjects could have resonance with Christian themes of the trinity. I like the disorienting quality and juxtaposition of the cat and the odd women. The cat feels a little stuck on and not sharp enough to sell its authenticity. I wonder if it had a touch more contrast if it would look more realistic. Overall though it is a very thought provoking image, well done. |

Betty, I like the atmospheric quality of this image. You've done a beautiful job creating a magical image. I'm with Aavo regarding the two figures. I don't get the feeling of much of a story based on how they are placed in the image |

Peggy, I like how experimental you've gotten with this image. I really like the outer network you've created, I'd like to hear more about how you created that. I have to say, I'm a little disappointed you've taken such a stunning colorful blurry image of the fish and altered them to take out the color and any recognizable fish. That image by itself is exceptionally beautiful and has so much potential. The combination of that with the lacy background has a lot of potential. |

Aavo, I really like your composition. The way you've pared the man's stare and the women's downward gaze does tell a story of the "old days". My only suggestion would be to consider reducing the contrast in the figures some as the window is much lower in contrast making the people seem unnatural. If you truly want to create a vintage look that will sell it more. |

Aavo, Thanks for your feedback. Sorry if this image didn't make much sense. I didn't really have a conscious idea I was developing but liked playing with movement. I really tried to give myself the freedom to work with the feeling of the photo. |
