Thanks for the suggestion. I liked the drama of the crash and if I crop it down I think it might loose some of that, but I see your point. |

Henry, It would be difficult to do as the image of the people was shot from high above. Blending of the light of the soccer players and the Hawaii beach was challenging. If I blow them up more the lighting issues will be more problematic, also I believe the rock was under a foot in height so it would be a very different picture with the kids at full size (that would be surreal in a different way) |

Kathy, I think that green color is an artifact created by compressing the image for this website as it isn't on my image on my computer. Thanks for being attentive to the details. |

Lisa, Can you give more details of what type of color blend mode you are thinking of? Brad |

Henry, I like how you've rendered a cartoon like quality to the image. I find the size and placement of the distorted vase confusing and it feels a little cluttery. I wonder if you play with the size, maybe put a drop shadow or work on some other way to have it separated more from the background may make it resonate more with the background as the current rendering leaves a confusing message. |

Lisa, This is another fun image. You have mastered the technique so I don't have a lot to add. You might play with drop shadows or shading to create a more three dimensional feel to enhance the face but it is nice as it is. |

Jan, This is a very strong image. I really like the horse and the complex out of focus background. For some reason the rendering of the horse's rump doesn't add to the photo for me. Something that would enhance the sense of movement seen in the horses mane might be more resonant. As I will often say, this is a personal taste issue for me so take it as one person's perspective |

Sue, I love this image. It is beautifully crafted, humorous and wonderfully lit. I would recommend submitting it to one of the contests on the PSA. |

Kathy, I like this image a lot. In the ideal world I would like to see a little more sliver of land at the bottom to give height perspective. I might try playing around with the coloring of the balloon in the upper right as something about the dark color feels off but overall it's a cool image |

Betty, This is delightful. I really like how you've used the smoke as a stand in for a tree, great idea. Although it may be difficult to do, you might try playing with the placement of your friend. I wonder if he was nudged over so he was closer to the left side, not directly centered in the frame, it might be more compelling (rule of thirds), either way it is wonderful. |

I'm curious. I am not sure what you and Peggy are referring to with respect to the "chicken". Is it the shadow of the hand? Yes, this image lacks a clear story, that is partly why I am sharing it to get suggestions. On some level it does seem to have a message, likely in the unconscious realm |

Alan, I think you have a very compelling image this month. I really think the repetitive images of the praying man are excellent. A very solid surreal image flawlessly executed.

Aavo, I like the concept behind this image. Interesting having the elephant protecting the women instead of the other way around. There are many interpretations one could make. I notice you have some oil spots in the sky from the original 1 image. These bug me on my photos and are easy to get rid of with the spot healing tool or cloning tool. |

Peggy, This is a very nice and atmospheric image. I could see this as an album cover. I might consider cropping it so there is a little less sand but it is very nice as it is. |
