The reason for the way the image was cropped was that I wanted the leave in the center to lead the eye forward to the bloom/action. Thanks everyone for the constructive comments. |

I agree with the rest of the group. Stephen's image brought a lot more color and depth to the image. |

Very nice composition. As with a lot of images I find that a little sharpening brings the subject forward in the photo. See attached image. |

I think that the image could be improved by sharpening which would give more depth to the subject. Other than that the subject was very good and I liked the cropping. It centered the subject very well. See the attached sharpened image. |
