52 Mar 26 Comment In the right place at the right time for this wonderful capture. Great sharpness and detail throughout and no need for noise reduction or sharpening in this image. Agree with Pamela about taking out the vegetation on the edge of the frame as a distraction to me. Wonderful image. Mar 20th
52 Mar 26 Comment Very artistic and you can feel the heat of the day through this portrayal of the Crackle against the brightness of the background. I like your crop and the pose of the Crackle with its feet wrapped round the railing. Agree with the others maybe to increase the detail in the Crackle but otherwise very nicely done. Mar 20th
52 Mar 26 Reply Thanks Tom for your comments. Yes wasn't sure about the other stem being a distraction I am abit of a purist so tend to do minimum in post but interesting now that i look at the colour of the thistle it is a bit too purple so will see if i can tone that tone. Mar 19th
52 Mar 26 Comment Yes a difficult capture from a moving boat so kudos to you. I like this image and amazing with the foot on the water as if it is walking on the surface definitely creating movement.
To me the natural color of the Albatross is fine and i think you have done a good job with your processing compared to the orginal with the colour of the bird and the water. I wouldn't change a thing. Nice crop too..

52 Mar 26 Comment Great action shot with the splashing and good capture of the water droplets too. To me i would like to see a bit more of a close up of the Spoonbill maybe cropping up from the bottom. I would be inclined to take out the vegetation as it would make a cleaner image. Think the colouring of the Spoonbill is very natural so would not change that. Mar 19th
52 Mar 26 Comment Lovely maternal image and perfect for Spring. The pink colour of the Spoonbil is wonderful and looks natural. Think shooting in lowlight helped. Your darker image is more appealing to me and i like seeing the entire body. What a great image. Mar 16th
52 Mar 26 Comment I enjoyed looking at this images and the various layers and ridges of the mountains as it leads you back to the snowcapped mountain. Lovely tranquil setting it conveys and you can feel the remoteness described by how you got there. You have done well in post to bring out the textures of the mountain...maybe putting it through ColorEfex Pro Tonal Contrast might add a bit too or the Dehaze slider as Sharon has suggested. I like the rocks at the bottom as this to me helps frame the image. Mar 16th
52 Mar 26 Reply Thanks Sharon and i think you and Pamela are right about the distraction of the other stem and flower. I thought it might add a bit of context but will see what it looks like without them in the frame. Mar 16th
52 Mar 26 Reply Thanks Pamela. Yes i considered taking out the right hand stem and flower but wasn't sure so based on your comments i will see what it looks like with it removed. Mar 16th
