I like the angle and the juxtaposition of the hands with the delicate buttercup. I tend to agree with Lisa that her picking the flower would be more inclusive of the Dexterity assignment. Nice story though. |

Wonderful image which tells a story...how nice that it is hanging in his shop. You have done a great job capturing his hands and showing off his handiwork too with the shoe. I might have just cropped in a tad on the left handside. Great photo. |

The crop is perfect for this image and takes my eye from top to bottom. Perfect symmetry also so well captured. The red and black of their costumes blend well with the white and grey background. |

That is a great visual of the hands working on the wood and the angle you shot this really emphasizes this. I liked that you included the craftsman face to show the concentration adding to the story. I used to play the guitar so this has a special meaning for me that they still make parts by hand. Nicely done. |

I think this is a very dexterous Stellar jay and perseverance has paid off. Very nice action shot displaying its wings outstretched with lots of detail in the feathers and the determination in its eye to hang on. I might have toned down the background and used a bit of the lens blur tool to make the subject stand out more. Nicely done and a good example of dexterity. |

Calligraphy is such an art and your daughter very talented! A beautiful card and seeing the calligraphy pen really adds a dimension to this image. How long does she take to write a card? I think you have posed the hands very nicely too. |

Thanks for identifying the bird, Mike. As you know there are so many in the Serengeti that i should have written them down in order of my photographing them...next time! Yes the original image is different (didn't realise) so will work on that one for adjustments you recommended..thank you. |

Thanks Tom and yes the original was a different image (didn't realise!) as i took 2. Will work on the other one and see if i can add more definition to the bird's chest and clean up the blades of grass. |

Thanks Pamela and yes i think he was trying to dry himself. You are right i took 2 photos of the bird but they have exactly the same settings but the background is different so thank you for pointing this out. I will work on the other image with your suggestions and remove the twigs. |

That is an amazing looking bird...where did you take it as not familiar with these? Great detail and focus in the feathers and the neck and eye. I agree with the Tom & Pamela just to tone down the green foreground abit. Really nice image. |

Very nice image of the Iris and the angle makes it more dynamic. Great detial in the petals. I might have toned down the background a tad to make the Iris stand out more but then would loose the etherial scene you were looking for. |

I think you have done well to capture the duck in flight and the water droplets make it more dramatic to feel the motion. I agree with Tom that abit more space above the head and a tighter crop would add to the image. I would add lens blur to blur out the background a bit. |

That is a very colorful bird and reading your description of it was intriguing. Australia has some very rich flora & fauna. We go there often and there are always interesting subjects to marvel at. The rainforest a perfect habitat for this bird i feel. The crop works well too allowing enough detail in the Cassowary. Agree with Pamela about adding a slight vignette. |

Amazing action shot that you captured and tells a great story that you detailed. They obviously were not bothered by your presence and focused on the scraps. To me the two gulls add to the story and they don't seem bothered by the incoming Eagle. Great capture. |

Very nice capture of this Egret with the movement of the leg and the eye holding my attention. The textures of the feathers really stand out and the tail feathers not being sharp doesn't detract. Processing in ColorEfex Pro and your other adjustments have made the image more dynamic to me. My only critique for me would have been not to have cropped so tightly especially on the left hand side to give more space around the beak but that is a preference. |
