Great image for a handheld and i like the elephants conveying motion too. The lights not blurred so good job. Nice and festive for the holidays. |

That must be the most goodlooking (and such a refined ladylike pose) that i have ever seen! Makes a change from the ones i take out on the safari plains. It really does look as if she had just come out of a beauty parlour. This is a very good portrait and the detail thoughout is sharp and captivating. |

A nice capture of the family group and i feel a sense of movement which is great. I think i agree with Carole to make the elephants stand out more with her version. I might have also cropped up from the bottom. A nice story of the Indian elephants. |

Thanks Carole and the background as you say was distracting. I like your version too and the fact you have made the leopard pop more. |

Thanks Bunny. Yes i think he was on the look for dinner! From his vantage point that gave him an advantage. |

What a great image and i know full well how tricky it is to photograph the hummingbirds here in Colorado but patience and getting it right in the camera is a virtue. This is an exceptional image and definitely competition worthy. Is the firebush normally that vivid red? It compliments the scene wonderfully. |

To me a thought provoking image and your artistic prowess in converting the leaf to the bold red colour makes it even more so. The gold one less so for me. I like the patterns in the stone wall compliment the red leaf. I too would like it just simplified slightly with taking out the twigs on the right at least for a stronger image. |

That was a successful dive and you captured it just at the right moment. The grebe has great colour enhanced by the sun being low on the horizon and i like how the water mirrors the colour of the grebe. Nice to show the movement in the water ripples too. As the others have stated i would have cloned out the other reeds. Very nice image. |

This image captures and conveys to me a softness in the flow of the water..alot of different levels to look at. The rocks add dimension and contrast well with the water. I might have chosen the original crop to elongate the flow but i like your square crop version too. |

Great angle in flight for the Heron with a sharpness and detail to enhance this lovely image. To me the original looks more natural as Judith has stated also which is the one i prefer.
Background nicely muted but i might just tone down the green a bit. |
