This is a nice journalistic story and you have captured her expression well being intent on picking her leaves. Nice colours throughout too. I agree with Connie's edits as the 2 ladies are a bit distracting to me. Looking forward to seeing more of your images. |

This is a great journalist shot and black & white is perfect. Tells a story with lots to look at. The smoke/dust adds to the drama unfolding. Yes a bit more of the calf would have been good but you still have a good story. I like Connie's version too as slightly toned down the brightness. Good job! |

Welcome to the group Lisa! Very nice vertical image with the path leading to the Silos. I agree with Carole's image for cloning out the other people as a bit distracting for me and having the one girl makes it a more compelling image. Not bothered too much about the sky...maybe a bit of dehaze might tone it down? |

What a success story behind your image and shows the power of the camera has its uses. To me the corn is centre stage and i can see the curtains being drawn back (the other leaves) to showcase this husk of corn! The textures and the muted colours help the yellow corn stand out. Really like your crop and the vertical lines of the laves and the stalks helping the image flow. The border also enhances this great image. |

I like the dappled effect of the sunlight almost mimicking the leaves of the pumkins. I like what Lisa has done to make the colours a bit more punchy and added more contrast. A closer shot would also work well to focus in on the pumkins. Looks like a nice crop for the Fall! |

I love sunflowers and this is a gorgeous image! I like how you have showed the sunflower in its natural environment and the trees to me are a part of this. A great perspective on this sunflower and the detail & texture of the middle bit blends so well with the petals. I wouldn't change a thing for me!
We have a sunflower field near DIA which attracts alot of photographers..have yet to do this but it is on my list! |

Yes Nancy i think that would have been a good idea to focus about a third of the way up. I will bear that in mind for future shots for sure. |

Thanks Judith. Yes it was a gloruious day & the light was just right even though it was 11am. We went for a walk along the coast and through the protected Marsh and lucky to come across the horses. |

That looks a much better image thanks Mike. What the best way to remove the horse behind in LR? You have done an excellent job! |

Ok thanks Sharon that is really good to know and will try that as i have difficulty on my R5 with the shutter speed for wildlife. Normally i have it on AV priority. |

Yes its hummingbird season here in Colorado! Very nice image and like the diagonal placement of the flower. I might have liked to see more of the Hummingbird but difficult as they move so quickly. Did you have the R5 set on Shutter Priority? Think as Mike suggested lightening up the bottom half would be good. |

Great capture of the bald eagle and its pose is dramatic and powerful. I like the detail in the feathers. I might have left a few leaves on the left hand side and give more room above the head. Lovely shot though. |

That is a great shot with the bee in motion and you can sense the inflight movement. The purple lavender adds a pop to the image so nice colour contrast to the bee. I agree with Mike about taking out the other stems but to me i would just remove the top one as the others give context. |

A great shot of the fox in motion with lunch! Were you low to the ground when you took this? I agree with Ann & Judith about the highlights at the top being a bit bright. Nevertheless you have captured a great nature image. |

A lovely pose for the Jay and kudos for you with your patience to take this shot. Thanks for detailing how you took this. The Canon R5 for me is still a learning curve! I agree with Ann & Mike about the bright background being toned down a tad. There seems to be noise in the background (or could be my computer)...did you run it through Topaz DeNoise? |

This is a really striking image...love it! The colours, the full silhouette really makes the backlit lion standout. The movement adds drama as does the texture of the ground contrasts with the smoothness of the lion's body. Not sure whether you cropped this image but if you had more space in front of the lion that would be nice but otherwise to me this is a powerful image. |
