12 Apr 24 Comment This image definitely intrigued me as at first i thought it was part of a door so kudos to you for this interesting angle. Very decorative staircase too. The horizontal lines work well with the triangles. Nice lighting too. A perfect image for this month! Apr 13th
12 Apr 24 Comment That is amazing that you created this from the original. I would like this clock on my wall! Love the colours and the symmetry of the brickwork. Very creative… will have to look at the Polar Coordinates. Nicely done & perfect for this months assignment. Apr 8th
12 Apr 24 Comment This is a great dimensional image… lots to look at from an unusual viewpoint. The feet help give direction. I love the different textures of the stonework and the randomness of the green weeds. I don't really use my iPhone for photos ( just snapshots) so can't really comment on the rotation. Apr 8th
12 Apr 24 Reply Thanks Carole. Yes it was such a random pose was lucky with the find which sparked my imagination… Apr 8th
12 Apr 24 Reply Thanks Connie. Think including the bottle adds to the story! Apr 8th
12 Apr 24 Reply Thanks Nancy & yess I think you are right I should have got lower… think it would have made a more dramatic shot. Just took 2 images. Apr 8th

52 Apr 24 Reply Thanks Ann… will look up Masefield's poem… I am always drawn to the ocean so for me this was a lovely spot. Apr 15th
52 Apr 24 Comment Lovely image and you have captured the flow of the water perfectly. You have included just enough of the rocks and the trees to give context to the waterfall. In your processing you have drawn out the lovely soft warmth in the colors. Very nice. Apr 13th
52 Apr 24 Comment Great image and can't believe there are 4 bison there! I like the way they are following the leader and you captured the movement in the feet against the snow. The texture stands out too in the snow which helps add contrast. I agree with Judith & Ann about the removal of the tree trunk and lighting the lead buffalo a bit. Might look nice in black & white too. Apr 13th

52 Apr 24 Comment I too like the expression of the bird..it holds my attention. Very nice juxtaposition on the branch. Background also complimenting the bird as no distractions. I think Polly's suggestion of the catchlight in the eye would be good but understand your reasons. Nicely captured. Apr 13th

52 Apr 24 Comment It does look a bit soft but am sure it's the posting. However this is a nice capture of the Sora..not familiar with this bird so good to know and you did well to capture it if it is a shy bird. I like the vertical grasses giving the image dimension against the bird. Good lighting highlighting the feathers and the yellow beak. I liked how you cropped in from the original so you can focus on the bird. Nicely done. Apr 13th
52 Apr 24 Comment Very creative and i think we are all waiting for Spring! I like the crop on this which takes my eye from the bottom up to the droplet, perfectly poised and waiting to drop. I love the purple hue which is just right...a wonderful abstract image well done. Apr 13th

52 Apr 24 Reply Thanks Judith. Yes it certainly was peaceful.. no one one there and a nice spot to contemplate. Most of the New Zealand Coastline is wild & desolate so a good subject for me. Apr 8th
