Thanks for sharing the history of this wonderful image. The detail in the glove stands out and looks great against the blue uniform and the gold buttons. You can certainly feel the sense of pride in his grip. Very nicely done. |

Great scene and good capture of your husbands hands! His hands has a purpose with holding the key fob. The composition is perfect as you have filled the frame and put the subject in the centre which works well. To me the folds of his jacket compliment the folds in his hands. I like the black & white too. |

Photographs feed the memories and this one precisely does this. What a lovely nostalgic image which tells a story and depicts so much of her life. Thank you for sharing her story. I agree with Carol that the silverware contrasts great lines with her fingers and i like the pattern of her blouse contrasting with the starkness of the tablecloth. The black & white conversion is perfect giving the image a sense of time and place. |

A hand full of character and makes me wonder what your hand has seen throughout your life! The texture is great and the diagnol composition makes it an interesting image. I do like the cropped one you did as i also see sand dunes in it! The snowman looks to me as if the end of his scarf is hand! He would bring a smile to my face if he was on my table too! |

Great shot of the Heron in flight and you did very well with taking out the wooden post. Lovely detail in the feathers and the wingspan. Background not distracting so you can focus on the Heron. Might have given the Heron a bit of room to fly on the right but not sure whether you had that option. |

What a great shot and to include his catch of the day! I think the angle and how you have cropped is great. Nice sharpness throughout and the water colour looks much better after your processing. Very nice image. |

A very pleasing tranquil image and love the colours of the sunset reflecting on the water. Very nice silky movement of the ocean. I need to practice this technique! The placement of the rocks lead you out to the horizon. Nice job on the processing. Only comment i have is that there appears to be abit of colour aberration of lines around the rocks. |

To me this is a nice nature story and the compostion elements with the different poses of the swans holds my attention. I like the hue colour of the water and the grasses, blends perfectly. Think Mike has done a good job with the blur technique but to me i prefer your version. Lovely image. |
