This is such a great image a lovely memory for you to hold. I think the snow adds a magical touch and it is what you remembered so all part of the nostalgia. I can just imagine you playing in this barn! |

Life is precious and so sorry to hear your loss of your sons. This photo has a wonderful nostaligic feel to it with the fashion choices and the faded colour of the photograph. I really like the square crop and the positioning of everyone..my eye goes in circle taking them all in. A happy memory which in life is a blessing. |

Always good to have family traditions especially at this time of year and now you have passed it onto your granddaughter! Perhaps for me the background of the tree needs to be darker and in that way the angel and the other ornaments would stand out more. A vignette too might draw me in. |

Certainly an image to reminisce about...must have been fascinating looking at all the old artifacts. I liked the positioning of the old pail and your conversion to give it more of an antique look. I might have bumped up the texture abit in the wood and the pale to give it a bit more texture but otherwise really nice. |

Thanks Joan. That would have been a good idea to makes the waves smoother to convey the motion. Will work on that next time. By the way i loved your photo in the Slideshow recently...very nice. |

Thanks Connie. I was also thinking like you to see how it would look with a more dramatic sky but was not to be on that day sadly. |

Living here in Colorado you have done wonderful justice to our beautiful landscape with this image. Great composition with the boulders in the foreground leading you across the water to the mountain. Mike's comment on the toning down of the boulder i agree with. I prefer the colours in the original as to me it looks more natural as Pamela comments too. The sky works too as doesn't detract from the water and the trees. In my view the image is a great one as is. |

A very nice capture of this elusive owl. I have still yet to photograph one so you have inspired me! Good catchlight in the leading eye and the ruffled feathers add drama. I think you have cleaned the foliage up really well and left enough to interest in the natural habitat. Good processing of lightening up the owl too. Very nice image. |

Thanks for tip...i ran it through my App 'Seek' (didn't realise you could do that with photos) and it also came up with Mosquito Ferns. Good idea to try and get the frog on a powerpoint and i like Pamela's suggestion also of a square crop. Thank you! |

The butterfly has landed on just the right flower...complimentary colours make this a very pleasing image. Nice and sharp with good detail throughout. We are also from Vero and have been to McKee many times so a good place for photographers! I also liked your photo from the Members slideshow...was that on the Beach at Vero? I have many photos of the Dunlings on the beach there! |

What a lovely minimalist image and very creative. At first glance to me it had a Japanese feel to it and made me think this would be a great woodblock print! The position of the branch is perfect. I might just clone out the 3 small leaves on the left handside as my eye (like Mike's) wants to see the end of the twig so might be cleaner without those 3 leaves. Otherwise a perfect image. Well done. |

What a lovely capture and an unusual angle makes this a terrific image in my view. I love the extended feathers of the Hummingbird which creates the intent of motion. I might just crop slightly up from the bottom but not as much as Judith as to me that looks a little tight. Great use of the shutter speed! |

Yes agree i found the vegetation wonderful and so dense. It was part of the Omaha Taniko Wetlands Scientific Reserve which has several threatened plants. I searched in vain to see if i could identify this plant! I think the pipe-like object was just a broken stick. |

Thanks Mike. I wish i had my telephoto with me as could have taken a closer shot. It was lovely to watch the frogs in their habitat. |
