Thanks Lee Ann and i agree when i first saw it it did have a humorous element to it. How you viewed it is wonderful and that is why photography offers so much and opens up the imagination! |

You can really feel the ancient history behind this door. The workmanship of making these structures so many centuries ago always impresses me. The arch leads you through to what looks like an amazing view. I might have lightened up the stonework but apart from that very nice image. |

Great image and what a find! As Carole says a really environmental photo of the doors...so much interest to look at. I might have cropped a bit closer so cropping a bit of the top.
I like Carole's vignette and makes the doors stand out.
Have enjoyed looking at your photos Barbara so wish you well. |

Very interesting capture of this door and its 3 locks...as you say intriguing to know why so many locks. I like the fact that the black wooden frame has been weathered..adds to the story. To me the white spots you mention don't both me. You have focused really well on this part of the door. |

That is an interesting door and story to go with it! Fascinating that the original version is an actual door for the musicians to pass through. Your imagination to turn this into a fantasy door (to me) is wonderful conjuring up an magical element to it. Agree with the others about the light at the top. |

Welcome to the group Aaron! They certainly made interesting doors back in the 14th Century! Very nice detail in the door itself and the slight distressing of the woods adds to the story. Curious to know what the 'Brotherhood of Blackheads' was!
Might have cropped less at the top if you had more room to show the arch. Nicely done. |

Definitely a great subject for this month's theme. What an interesting door...my eye was taking in so much! I like how the vertical lines of the Iron bit compliments the wooden part of the door. Where was Lindy? Maybe she was out for a ride! |

A very lovely lily and i like the unusual colouring like you. Original 2 is my preference as it tells a story as part of being in the garden. I agree with the others of the main image not being sharp so a bit distracting. The lily in the garden is very pleasing so nicely done. |

Thanks Sharon. Interesting to know how powerful green is so will look at decreasing the saturation and luminosity. |

Very nice capture of the mother and her chick depicting a softness and tender moment. I like how everything flows in a circular motion with the mother looking down and the chic looking up. Great detail throughout which holds your attention.I too agree about the twig but overall i think this is a wonderful image. |

Lovely photo of the giraffe and the detail is sharp so my eye goes directly there. I like the young one's tuft of hair too so a nice detail. For me the glow is a bit too surreal but i tend to err on the side of being a purist but i think you have created the desired effect for what you wanted. The young giraffe has a different colour sheen...but maybe that was the way it was. Very nice composition and crop. |

What a delightful image. I love the colour of the jellyfish against the black...really well done. Your crop too nice and you can feel the jellyfish launching upwards with its tenticles strung out. Very nice capture and glad the tank glass wasn't too much of a challenge. |

What a lovely colour of the Starfish and compliments the anemone. I have never seen them up close like that so well done as there is alot of detail there! My only comment would be to slightly decrease the crop on the right hand side so that the top part of the Starfish has more room. |

I like the expression of this Anole and great capture of the eye and his position on the branch. You have done a great job in post rescuing this image from being over exposed. Details in the branch are great. I agree with Mike about the blown highlights on the underside but doesn't detract too much.
I am having difficulty with my R5 on getting a high enough shutter speed at times...any tips? All a new learning curve for me. |

Thanks Mike and yes i agree about the different shades of grass so will look at darkening it on the left. Also the blur would be good to make the Chippy stand out. |
