I like the layering effect of the fog, it has a dreamy quality about it. The soft golden colors convey the early morning. I actually like the original too with the foreground of the grass and the trees to give the image an added dimension. Nicely done. |

I like all the different rain drops you captured and glad you were safe in the car instead of out! Very atmospheric image with lots of contrast and textures. |

I love clouds and they definitely get your imagination going as Connie says. It was good that you added the wing tip as this adds definition to the backdrop of the clouds. Since i am a Canon user not sure about your Nikon 995 but it produced a good result! I think Connie's use of contrast and deepening the blues is my choice. |

Very creative image so kudos to you for imaginative editing!
I think the colours of clouds and the sky blend really well with the lightening. Having your reflection in the photo adds a mysterious element, almost a ghostly feel. Nicely done. |

Thanks Pamela. In fact I do have a wildlife setting for my one of my Custom settings which seem to work really well on my Canon 5D Mark IV and have put it on my R5 so I am just learning to use this! |

Beautiful capture of the butterfly and the flower. The colors really pop against the black background. Amazing that the butterfly's legs are all attached to the flower in such great details. Really nice image. |

This blue heron has character which you have beautifully captured in its pose. The simplicity of the composition of the heron on the branch is eye catching and stands out with the white background. Nice detail throughout. |

In an instant i was drawn to the drama of the image, very compelling. I like how the contrasts of the texture of the snow and the smoothness of the smoke billowing work well to compete. The original looks almost monochrome so your processing was excellent into Black & White. I agree with Sharon that cropping out the sky would make it an even more dramatic image. Nicely done. |

I like how you have filled the frame with the butterfly and to me your crop is perfect. The position of the head and the legs with the antenna in the flower is a great capture. You can feel it sucking out the nectar. As the others have commented the only distraction for me is the white spot on the out of focus flower. |

This is wonderful and i love the diaganol positioning of the Warbler and the wings in mid flight. Definitely leave the leaves in as this adds contrast. Great white background. Would happily put this on a metal frame for my wall! |

I think you were right to be enchanted by the curve of the petals...they are quite lovely and intriguing. The circular flow works really well and am glad you didn't cut it and photographed it indoors! The black background is perfect for this image. The lily appears a bit grainy but i think this adds dimension to the flower. My favorite is the purple Lily as the colour for me enhances the shape and gives contrast. |

Thanks Judith for your comments and have taken out the white blob left and toned down the water...made a difference so thank you! I did have on a circular polorizer but didn't have time to move it when i was taking the shot. |
