Thanks Lee Ann...yes it is strange as i can't immediately see it as a bench but guess each viewer's perspective is different! Good party game! |

Interesting and thought provoking image. I haven't been to NYC for a long (as like you i love nature and landscapes) but this was very telling and thank you Carole for giving us the link to know more. Architecturally it is a gem of a photo with so many good contrasting elements in the lines, the reflections and the people. I like the B&W image too. Thanks for sharing this image with us. |

This image to me conjures up a step back in history. So many interesting architectural facets in this image with the curves and the vertical lines. Like all the different colour lighting too. Would be better without the cars but then as Connie says...
Nicely done. |

I think 'Architecture' can be in many forms to me and i think we have all shown that in this months assignment. Love this photo of the 'Bait Shack' even though it isn't a Bait Shack but tells a story. Sepia for this is perfect. Satellite dish to my eye is a distraction so a clone out for me. Nice image with lots of history. |

I like how you captured the angles of this lobby and to me it gives the feeling of a contemporary space. I agree with Carole that the lights reflected in the window are a distraction and her version makes it cleaner. The colours of the wood, the sky and the trees blend well together and i also like the B&W version too. |

Welcome to the group Chane! Great light on the barn and nice you enhanced the red of the building and the blueness of the sky. Snow always tricky to photograph but you have great textures there. I agree with Fran taking out the tree on the left. Crop wise its perfect and i do also like Carole's Pano telling more of the story. Nicely done. |

A very raw image with a sobering history attached. The beam has many facets to it and i like the different textures it shows. I like how you have included the people as it adds scale to this somber moment. |

Thanks Connie & Carole with your interesting viewpoint on the Bench theory! I looked again at the photo and still can't see it as a bench but i love the fact that you do! Amazing how a photograph has a different perspective for the viewer. |

I like how this leaf has 'paused in the fence', the title itself makes you want to know how it got there. The detail of the leaf and your zooming in has created a really nice image and with the frame drawing attention to the leaf. Colours blend really well together. Agree with Mike about the frame on the left. Will be looking at doing 'Safaris' in my backyard now once the snow has melted! |

This is a nice threesome of the Boys Club and i like how their expressions are all different. I think the 'High Key' effect is nice and i would not remove the grass as it adds texture and tells the story. Here in Colorado it is a challenge to go out and shoot against the whiteness but you have a nice image with contrast so good job. |

Very nice capture and an interesting angle. Great movement in the wings and the beak. Think to my eye the under belly and the feet are a little soft. Nice crop with space for flight. |

What a lovely image to me depicting a peaceful scene. My eye is totally engaged throughout with the softness of the flow of the water and the contrast of the colours of the foliage. Great job of the sky too...where is the sky mask in LR you use as i always struggle with toning down the sky in my photos? Really nice image. |
