Thanks Fran...yes a that would be a good series 'Through the window'. This is what it looked like in colour...B&W has more impact for me. |

A lovely calming image and the colour of the flowers contrast well with the greyness of the outside. Nicely composed and i think like Lee Ann has suggested to remove the top bar thus making it a cleaner image to me. |

Amazing the power of the imagination...a great capture of the serpent in a mystical setting with the smoke swirling. I also see a face behind the serpent. To me the blue colour adds to the drama but the crop from the top would make a better image. |

A nice story and good composition. For me the distraction is the background but i like what Carole has done to darken that. Really nice lighting. I will also use the adjustment brush more in LR as haven't really experimented with that. |

What a nice view from your window! They are beautiful flowers and i love the colour. I agree with Carole about the Vignette which helps me focus more on the flowers. |

Gorgeous image and so cute! You have captured her in such a beautiful light from the window...almost a dreamy effect aided by the vignette. The reflection is an added bonus. Great image and a great memory for both you and your daughter. |

Great image and nicely cropped. I agree with Mike about toning down the back a bit to help with separation. A good capture. |

Beautiful image...love the colours of the woodpecker. Your crop is spot on too. Great detail in the feathers and the eye. Well done. |

Lovely image and i like how you have blurred the background and included the purple in it to match the flowers. Nicely cropped too and i like the diagonal effect. |

Amazing shot at eye level and nice detail in the feathers and good focus throughout. For me the crop is a bit tight at the bottom and would have liked more room for the Booby to fly forward but as a grab shot not easy. Agree with Mike about the horizon level but sometimes not everything is in our favour. |

The mantis looks very content to be stuck to your storm door! What an opportunistic shot and you have conveyed the light and the sharpness really well. Shooting at a high ISO you have managed to keep the Mantis sharp and in focus which is no mean feat shooting through glass. |

This is a terrific image which to me has a simplicity about it and you can really focus on the beautiful colours of the butterfly. I appreciate Lisa's comments about including more of the nature involved but to me this does not detract. I admire your technique in putting this image together. Nicely done. |

What a difference it makes thank you Mike! I like how you have lightened the image. I think i was initially worried that it might be too white but now i understand that i can lighten it. |
