Not sure the age of the child as didn't see the actual artist! The event was just finishing. Would have been good though to watch him/her do this painting. |

What a humorous image..made me smile! Rascal certainly looks as if posing for you..Was his other leg in the air too as would have been good to capture that too?! Nice light and sharpness throughout...a great image. |

An amazing image of this bear and the mouthful of clover adds to his expression. Nice catchlight in his eyes...almost dreamy! Adding the white vignette adds to the mystic. Nicely done. |

I can hear the music! Great imagination well done and works really well. I too like the border around the photo which compliments the notes. I might have cropped off the wilting petal at the bottom to allow more focus on the others. Good job and perfect for this month's assignment. |

Certainly a 'Whimsical Expression' and the colours of the deer are nicely toned. Not sure whether it is my eye but it appears abit soft and maybe a closer shot would add more detail? I think Carole's point about distractions are good and i like her version. It looked a nice day to be out in the forest. |

Very clever as i too thought it was one image. The dog lends itself to being there! What a Whimsical story for sure...You have blended everything together perfectly. |

Thanks Carole and i too like the stories behind the image. I am always an opportunist so it is wonderful to spot something that inspires you like this glass painting in the park. |

Thanks Sharon....yes the image looks much better now i have added room on the right hand side. Desaturating the background colours also worked. |

Yes it certainly is a colorful bird. I guess he is happy on the thorns as maybe a safe place deterring preditors! His feet look quite hardy. |

Very nice and your post processing is spot on! I really like the background colours so perfect for a notecard. Our hummingbirds in Colorado have gone now although i did a double take on a Hummingbird Moth which i thought was a hummingbird by its movement. Never seen one before and apparently they are good luck! |

Its a great time of year to focus on the changing of seasons and i like your composition of the cluster of pods together with the backlighting of the leaves on the right. For me i would have cropped in tighter to give more emphasis on the pods. |

Certainly an impressive gorge and the fog (would include more like the others have said) adds to the drama of the image. I like the flow of the water and movement which you captured really well. Probably would have toned down the green of the vegetation as a bit bright for me. |

That is an amazing capture of the Hawk in flight. Such a clear and sharp image and i like the crop too. He certainly has intent on that poor frog! Only thing i might have done is darken/dehaze the background a bit more. Excellent image. |

I love sunflowers too especially at this time year. I like the composition of the single flower and the backlit of the petals. I do agree with Mike about the dark center and i think he has done well to lighten and warm it up. To me the leaf at the bottom is a bit of a distraction so less of it is good. I like the blue sky against the orange of the flower. |
