A lovely pattern of these lillies and it is amazing the difference you get when you use a zoom lens comparing your other 2 images. Nice detail and i like how the water droplets are glistening on top of the leaves. I like how Fran has cleaned the branches so adding less distraction. |

I think this image works well with the contrasts that you have done in post. I like the composition and the juxtaposition of the leaves. I think i might have cloned out the black spot at the top of the small leaf as to me a bit of a distraction. Always fun to see what is in your backyard! |

We have them on our beach too in Florida (Vero Beach) and it amazing when you actually see one coming up on the beach from the ocean although pitch black! Great pattern you have captured detailing the nice texture of the sand. I think i might have cropped out the sky totally so you can focus on the pattern but just a thought. |

Wonderful capture...it has immediately transported me there! Were you on top of a hill? I have never been to the Palouse but have seen lots of photos from that region but yours is original. I like how the shadows are competing with the soft golden light. I might have cropped abit of the top so take out the treeline to add more definition to the scene. Nicely done. |

A great Fall scene and you have captured the flow of the water really well. I didn't notice at first the fallen dead tree so to me not a distraction. The colour of the water is a bit too saturated for me but with your description it is a purist view. Might have cropped a bit from the bottom and added a bit more of the forest in the background for your next shot! |

A captivating nature story and nice that you had a plan to photograph this lovely image. Nicely done with the arch of the branch adding a focus for the birds. As the others have said a little more room on the right hand side for me too. |

What a magical night sky and i think you have captured the right ambient light in the sky. I agree with LC about the trees and the foreground being a bit too well lit and would tone them down. The sky is wonderful and holds my attention. Good job. |

This is an emotional image giving pause for thought and highlighting the fragility of wildlife in its environ. The landscape looks stark and unforgiving adding to the drama of this image. |

Very imaginative and creative image...I really like it. The colours compliment each other and the texture of the 'cape' and the bud help the image stand out to me. Like the drama of the black background. I probably would have cloned out the leaves on the stem to make it a slightly cleaner image but a really great capture...nicely done. |

The heron is beautifully captured and such lovely texture and detail in itself that to me the textured background is a distraction. I am a bit of a purist and the bird is all i need to hold my attention. |
