A heartwarming photo for sure...a rare view so well done! Great sharpness and detail in the babies. Agree with the others about cropping out some of the background so to give more focus on the birds. Like Carole's lightening up of the image also. |

Airports as we know are busy places so you have done a great job capturing the people on the Escalator. I like how you have bought us in to the escalators with your cropping. The light also is nicely done. I might have cropped less at the top as to me feels a bit tight. Interesting photo for this month. |

What a feat to capture this on the moving bus and perfect alignment with the sun! I like the vertical lines also of the crane and the pylon in the background. To me this is a perfect grab shot...well done! |

I love the simplicity of this image and the way the grasses have fallen. I too like grasses and have photographed a few in the snow here in Colorado. The golden colour of the grasses against the blue sky works really well. To my eye there is just a black dust spot between the two top grasses unless it is my computer! |

A great perspective of this building and my eye goes right up the left side enjoying the lighting on the way. The contrasting colours of the grey building with the lights and the blue sky work well together. Agree with Connie about the top corner of the building but doesn't detract for me. Nicely done. |

I love sunflowers and i really like your perspective on this one. The sunflower field must have looked gorgeous. Capturing the bees in their natural habitat on a blue sky day with the contrast of the yellow of the sunflower makes this a great image to me. The orginal hue didn't bother me. |

I think the actual composition is wonderful and unusual so kudos on that. For me it is the focus issue on the Dragon Fly as not sharp to my eye as Sharon has commented on as well and also the water droplet seems to lack clarity. So both these are distractions for me but i really like the composition. I use my macro lens when i am photographing our dragonflies on our duneline on the beach. |

All a learning curve for me and looked up the Sweet Gum Tree as had never seen one! What a beautiful capture and love the colours and the abstract feel of it...would happily have this on my wall! I think a good discussion idea of yours

You were there at the right time! How long did you have to wait for him to get his catch? Great capture and the sharpness of the bird is really eye catching. I think the others have covered the background issues and i would have also cropped in to give more focus on the Heron. |

Beautiful colour of the flower and i like the arrangement of them. But to me i am more on the simplistic side and would have probably selected just one of the flowers with the camera. The background is just too busy for me . I do like what Pamela has done with an abstract version as i think you can get away with this. |

This image has great depth and contrast. I too like the original especially with the 2 trees in the foreground framing the image. I can feel the tranquility of the forest. You have done well with bringing out the detail in the bark of the trees and the snowy branches. Might have cropped alittle off the bottom to focus more on the trees and branches. You have inspired me to go out into our forests here in Colorado as we have so much snow so will be looking for a good composition! |

Sorry i am a bit late to the critique! I agree with the others the sky being too saturated. The colours and the textures of the land have great warmth and detail to me. My eye needs something to rest on so agree with LC about a bit more drama but others a pleasing image. |

Thanks Sharon and Mike for your comments and i do see what you mean so will give that some thought. If there was a 3rd bird to fill the space then that would be the perfect image! |
