Great choice for this month and the colours are wonderful. He certainly blends in with the background! I like the darker vignette better...it makes the Rooster stand out more..nice job! |

That is a lovely Fall reflection with great light and colour. Good job! Those trees look so tall emphasized by your vertical shot. |

This is a great image which tells a story and the fact that snow was on the ground even better! You have nice contrast between the snow and the guy on the left and the railings. It almost looks like a Black & White image if it wasn't for the flags. Nicely done and congrats it being chosen for your Local Women's Club. |

A great collection of leaves and the colours are wonderful. I agree with Connie that i would have cropped down to isolate the front 3 hanging branches and perhaps a little dehaze to tone down a few bright spots and make the blue bluer. |

Thanks Carole...and yes looking back on the image i think you are right it lacks a centre of interest and i think it would have looked better in its entirety if the grassy bank at the back was not there... |

I like how pristine this image is with the snowfall and a sense of stillness. It really conveys a good winter scene with all that deep snow! Our winter is pretty much like that in Colorado and we measure the snowfall by how much has fallen on our table outside so abit like your image :). You have captured it beautifully. |

Great movement of the Duck and i like the consistency of the flow of the body and the wings. I agree that the crop for me is a little tight at the top but apart from that it is a great image and good processing techniques too. Good for me to learn from them! |

I really like the composition and the Heron has an interesting pose. It is a shame the light is a bit harsh so i might return when the light is softer as i am sure you could get some good shots of the nature in the pond. I like how the branches give some contrast to the bird. Might have zoomed in closer too and widen my aperture so the background was less in focus. Your second visit i see is a much sharper take so good for you going back! |

That is a an interesting angle of the Booby and i like how the light is shining on the top of his feathers. Great detail in the eyes and the beak. Only distraction for me is the bright background so might have hit the Dehaze button a bit to tone it down. |

The turtle looks as if he is enjoying basking in the sunshine! Amazingly sharp detail in the head and the feet so good job there. You have also done well clearing up the background. For the the shiny shell is still a bit of a distraction as well as the light part of the concrete. Might have cropped further and added a vignette to bring the light down. Pamela has done a nice edit too. Wander what it would have looked like with more of an eye level perspective on the turtle... |

Thanks for your comments and now that i look at it again i think you are right it does look a bit flat. Never used the 'glow or sunshine' filter...where do you find them? |

I really like the composition and my eye wanders up the river to the trees and the mountains. I actually like the original and agree with Lisa's comment on finding the middle ground for processing. The clouds could perhaps be bought out a bit too.

How nice to witness the process of the emerging butterflies in your garden. The composition with the butterfly hanging on the milkweed is lovely and i like how it all flows. Gorgeous colours of the butterfly and the milkweed and good choice for post processing in ColorEfex Pro. I agree with Pamela about the small round bright spot on the right hand wing is distracting. A great image with great detail. |
