An air of intrigue about this image...and an expectation of the door being opened! Nicely done with the shadows of the hand acting as the leading lines and the blinds casting a good backdrop. Agree with Barbara about the hot spot but little i think you could do on that. |

That is a wonderful capture of the Osprey and the leading lines of the branch leads me straight to it. Nice soft palette and great detail all round. Might have dehazed the sky slightly to make it more blue. A really great image. |

Very nice and agree with Kerstin & Barbara...a perfect shot for this month. A perfect structure complimenting the texture of the sand. Might have dehazed the sky slightly to deepen the blue but otherwise really nice shot. |

I like the leading lines of the track taking your eye to the Caboose. Perhaps to make it even more dramatic a lower perspective might be nice too. To me the tank is a distraction as i prefer simpler images so for me i would have taken the image without the tank so to just focused on the Caboose. Lovely colours though of the trees and they blend in well. |

Thanks Barbara and yes good idea to crop a bit on the left for balance...it looks better. Not sure our Fall this year is going to be quite as spectacular as last years... |

That is a very nice mowed lawn and it certainly directs my eye. I would perhaps like to see more of the lawn and less of the buidlings. To me i might try a vertical crop to include more of the lawn and crop down from the top to just include the big building. |

Yes my eye goes to center...What a great photo..so simple and i like the use of the white space. Unusual looking car too!
Very creative and gives me pause for thought on leading lines.
Stay safe Carole... |

Great composition of the Cormorant and really good sharpness and colour of the eye and the beak. The feathers also stand out with good clarity and textures. I know you have mentioned the background but to me its a bit too busy and cluttered so a cleaner image i would prefer. Not sure how you would do that though unless you had a larger aperture but that would probably compromise the great sharpness in the bird. |

What a great capture....it took me a while to see the chick as i was so drawn by the lovely colours and detail of the hen! Great perspective too and the crop works well. I like how you have given her space and the background of the foliage blends well. Nicely done. |

I really like the moodiness in the original and i can see why it 'spoke to you'. Very atmospheric and i like the simplicity of the 2 trees. For me while i really like how you have brightened the foliage in the front the background seems overprocessed and has lost it magic feeling of the fog. I recently processed a misty morning on the river image in ColorEFEX Pro and chose 'Pastel' which worked really well so if you don't use ColorEfex Pro then have a look at some of their filters. They even have one for Fog! I also have preocessed some of my foggy images into black and white too..any just my 2 cents. But i really like your composition on this. |

I love the layers in this image.. it evokes a tranquillity and peacefulness as my eye wanders over the covered hills. Very well done. My preference is perhaps cropping just a bit from the bottom to cut off some of the trees as i love the sky! But that is just me :) |

I really like the simplicity of this image and the colours of the yellow of the Canola and the sky blend beautifully. Nice to see that you captured this so well in the camera with little post processing. The soft contours of the fields are lovely and add interest. Very nice. |

Lovely that you still have the Hummingbirds as ours are all but gone now probably heading your way! This is a wonderful caputure of the Hummingbird and i like how the Milkweed plant is tact sharp as so colourful. The square crop works too. I might have brightened up the bird's eyes a tad. Lovely image. |
