A great story here and like the way your subject has crouched down to take the photo. You did a good job with the cropping & cloning except i might have continued further and cropped in a bit from the left to exclude the Red Temple which my eye goes to. Good light on the hat and i like the framing at the top with the tree. |

I am very impressed with your creativity! You have certainly found a niche...what intriguing photos and by the sounds of things you enjoyed creating these special techniques. I really liked your hat (original 2)...the colours and the textures really stand out. Great job and thanks for sharing. |

Thanks Carole..yes i am a fan too of Silver FX. Actually i parked my car on the side of the road then walked to the middle of the road to get the shot i wanted. Luckily it is quite a remote stretch so not too much traffic! |

What a great job you have done at lightening the aircraft and displaying the detail. I will have to look at the Adjustment Brush for larger objects too. Thanks for sharing. |

Thanks Carole that is a great lesson for me! I usually just focus on Lightroom for most of my processing but will look at Photoshop for these techniques. Normally i am trying to tone down a bright sky so maybe this will help. You have done a great job on the Gorilla...He almost looks as if he is posing! |

Wonderful moody image with great emphasis on the dust and light for me together with the way the horses are moving. May even be interesting how it would look if the horses were even more sillouetted rather than the detail showing? I like Sharon's edition making the image pop a bit more and more negative space like LC suggested would be good. Very nice image. |

To me the synergy of this images flows well and i really like the bokeh background. It tells a story with the penny lodged in there but to me it looks a bit lost and the emphasis in my opinion is on the plant. The reddish colour could pop a bit more with Color Efex Pro? Or i might have put it into black & white to see if the coin became more of the story. Anyway i like the composition and the way the plant is springing forth from the green foliage. |

I am beginning to like life in your office! What a great capture and it tells a fun story, very comical..hope the squirrel on the ground got up to fight another day! Good job in post of darkening the background and maybe add a slight vignette to enhance the squirrels further? Nice detail in the squirrels with good use of the light. |

I can imagine having a wonderful picnic underneath this tree enjoying the summer's day! I like the way the branches frame the fields in the distance and leads my eye to them. Nice detail in the tree. I might have cropped out the 2 sunflares at the top but not a big distraction. To me the starburst of the sun adds to the image and i am impress that you got it at F2.8...normally for mine i do F16. OOPs just read your correction you did do it at F22! I usually critique first without reading the other comments :). Very nice image and prefer the original edited one. Good to know about the filters. |

A nice pleasing image and can feel the stillness of the sunsetting. I like how the small roadways (or are they drainage ditches?) carve up the landscape adding interest. Nice job in processing bringing out the colours but as Mike & Judith have commented would add a bit contrast. Very scenic image. |

Thanks Pamela...will show a bit more of the water but was worried that the small debris floating in it on the left would be a distraction which is why i cropped it slightly. Good suggestions thanks! |

Thanks Mike and yes you should get to Botswana it offers wonderful photographic opportunities which are different from Kenya/Tanzania. Yes i will remove the dead tree and thanks for your suggestions of boosting the sun's glow...will look at that. |

That is a great capture of the interaction between the butterflies. They appear sharp (although the wing of the Red spotted one appears soft not that it detracts) and in nice light showing off their features. The leaves on the right appear too green for me so i would have toned them down slightly. I like the re-edit. |
