A picturesque bird feeder and i really like the design and detail as i am sure those rats did too...probably thought it was the playground! Kudos to you for merging the photos...it blends in well. Hope they left some nuts for the birds! |

Thanks Barbara...yes i should have thought about cropping out a bit more of the sky so thank you for your suggestion :) |

The stained glass window and marble are impressive indeed and great light through the window. For me though a bit distracting in terms of the Symmetry angle. I think for me i would have tried a vertical shot perhaps. The repeating lines of the columns are great so maybe less of the window but not sure what effect you were trying for? I think Connie's crop is more pleasing to me. An interesting subject though for sure. |

Amazing...very creative and in perfect symmetry! This would look good on a t-shirt or a pattern for a fabric.. The colours are great and blend well together. Nice job! |

This is a great example of symmetry and like you i looked up a few images that portrays this as i don't normally photograph this way. But now i am intrigued and seeing new symmetry subjects through my lens so a great exercise. This image tells a story and i like how the people have gathered randomly in groups with the columns adding a strong background and ties in nicely with the horizontal steps. |

This is a great example to me of symmetry and well balanced too. The linear form of the photograph takes my eye on and on till i get to the person at the end. Even the repeating patterns in the carpet add to the dimension. Nice job of cropping tighter in to give it more focus. I might have removed the red spot in the ceiling half way down but otherwise a pleasing image. |

Certainly an unusual and striking image. Bit confused as to what beaks belong to whom! I like the backlighting of the feathers and bringing out the detail in them too. For me i would have toned down the background a tad (not much) and cropped up from the bottom to cut out the bottom of the nest as too dark which the others have mentioned. |

That is a great capture of the petunia and such a gorgeous rich purple complimenting the greenery. I really like the angle of the flower with the diagonal slant. Kudos to you for your PS post processing...i rarely use Photoshop so perhaps i should look also at doing the beginners course :). I think like the others have suggested to crop the small bit of purple at the top right. |

That is some cute Quail chick! I like the intensity of the chick's movement. To me i would have focused and cropped so that the chick is main subject whilst i appreciate you stretching the rule of thirds. I like the colouring of the chick and would like to see it up closer. To me i would have toned down the background a bit to make it less bright. |

A great image depicting Spring and i love the soft pink colour of the blossom. Nice detail in the stamens too. The glow doesn't bother me but i used the Chronic Aberration manual sliders in LR recently on an image to clean up the edges and that seemed to work. But in your case i like how it is. Blurred background is perfect and agree with Sharon maybe trying a smaller aperture and perhaps less of the branch on the left. |

To me the title says it all! My eye goes straight to the eye then in admiration to the feathers. The texture is wonderful and contrasts against the smoothness of the silky water. I like the crop and what you have done in post to make this Egret stand out. A very nice well balanced image. |

Certainly invokes a mystical feel highlighted by the movement of the waves almost in slow motion. An image to ponder for sure. I might have brought out a bit more detail in cliffs. I actually like the original with the Lighthouse adding to the drama. |

Thanks Pamela and yes i felt also that more room was needed at the top of the image for the mountains. I wish i had taken that into account when i took the photo! Cropping the divot out also good..i should have noticed that so thanks! |
