It has a nice abstract feel to it and the red flower really pops out. For me i think i would have positioned the red flower to be a bit more central but maybe that was out of your control! I like the textures of the ice bubbles around giving it a nice dimension. You did well to try this technique. |

I like the way the snow has fallen on the rose and adds a different dimension to the petals. The soft rose colour is lovely with the water dropletsand the way the light has fallen makes it an appealing image. For me though i prefer the image with rose hanging down and cropping the top bit off so just showing the pink rose. That's just me though! Nice job. |

It certainly is well 'sculptured' and has a character of its own! Very impressed with your processing skills...i only really use LR so i am in awe of all you have done! I might have cropped a bit off the bottom to focus more on the head. Might look nice in black & white too... |

I think this is a great capture and agree with the vertical crop. The texture of the icicles to me are intriguing and look frigid! They compliment the texture of the wall and the wood. I also think that it would look a good image in black & white? |

It certainly has an air of solitude..and a tranquill scene. I am in agreement with Judith on the original version of the crop..my eye is drawn up to the mountains so nice leading line. To me it would have been a more pleasing image if the reflection was sharper. Also i would reduce the size of your watermark. Nice rich colours you have brought out in the greens and browns. |

I am amazed at how well the bird blends in with vegetation..even the eye catching feet. Yes it would have been good to capture a deeper DOF as to me the grasses in the background are a bit distracting. You have done a good job with detailing in the feathers and focus on the eye. I like how the bird is in movement too. |

That is a very endearing image..and nice that you have captured such a special maternal moment. I agree that the focus needs to be more on the feeding and to give the image a bit more colour and contrast to make it pop. I like what LC has done. |

Hope he managed to crack the nut! He certainly has an intensity and a sense of purpose. I like the focus on the squirrel and good eye capture and colouring with the light. The green foliage is a good foreground which helps emphasize the squirrel. To enhance further i might crop down from the top and remove the
two small branches in the background. Nice job! |

What attracts me the most about this image are the bristles on the stem and the leaves. Nice job of cropping with the diagnol stem and the 3 bold colours of purple, red and green work well in my opinion. I am not learned in Photoshop and only use a few tools there so can't comment on that front. I think this a lovely image. |

This is a pleasing image to me so glad you didn't trash it! I am a big fan of the abstract and you have done a good job with this one. I like how you have enhanced the barnacles and the detail in the wood of the pier as to me this compliments the opaqueness of the water. Agree with Lisa just to crop slightly on the left to add more definition to the pier. |

Thanks Lisa. Is it the slight halo around the apple you are referring to? |

Thanks Judith. I decreased the vignette and increased the feathering (actually have never used the feathering tool before so thank you for that, always good to learn!) and it looks a better image. |
