That is a creative image for 'something red'...wonder what her photograph was of...the flowers?! Nice composition and she is at 'one' with the flowers.. |

Great shot and i can feel the speed! The blur enhances the sense of movement to me and a good way to cover up the background. Never used Radial blur so will have to look into that. Nice job. |

Yes it has been an amazing year for smokey sunsets...we have had quite a few dramatic ones in Colorado. Like Connie i like the repeating patterns of the pier and the colour of the sky is magnificent. To me i may have included a bit more of the water as you have a nice reflection of the light in it and perhaps cropped out the last building on the left to give a bit more simplicity but that's just me! Great shot. |

The roses look amazing for being wooden...you have done a nice composition with the vase and the beading on the bottom all tying in nicely. You were right to extend the top of the canvas to give the flowers more room. To me the light reflections in the vase are distracting but not sure what you could have done about that? Not too dark for me. |

This is very nice and you have inspired me to take a picture of my ornaments when our tree is up! Never think to do that but think its a great idea. Composition of the ornament is nice and i like how it is off centre. I agree with Connie's rendition and with a bit of sharpening it looks great. |

Yes that is a great looking leaf and i like the detailing in the leaf! I think to me i would have liked to have seen more room round the leaf so not as tight a crop. Very festive and good use of Topaz! |

Amazing footage of this Kite in action and love the outstretched claws waiting to grab onto its prey...full of intent with the focus and concentration in the eye. I like it just the way it is and even would consider adding more ripples to the water as to me it adds context. Nicely done. |

I really like the title and how you have captured the leaf. It looks as if it has 'paused' and looking in..I particularly like the water droplets and the way greenish light reflects on the right hand corner of the leaf. Would be good it the leaf was a tad sharper but difficult when shooting through glass. I like your crop and the negative space around the leaf. Lovely image.. it tells a story. |

Nice composition and like that you have given space for the Pelican. For me the background competes a bit with the bird with the brightness so as Lisa has said to address the glare would enchance this image. Not sure if its me but there seems to be a slight bit of chromatic aberration around the head and the bill? It could just be me! |

Nice pose of the Flamingo and guess he is looking for his lunch.
I like how you have captured the movement of the water and the reflection. For me the light and shade on the bird is too harsh so i would tone that down and the background is a bit distracting so to crop that down a bit and clone as Sharon suggests would make it a more appealing image. |

Thanks LC for your comments on whether to include a bit more of the log or not...will see what it looks like. And yes this lion with his wonky eye was definitely a character! |

Good to know about alterations being ineligible for nature competitions and i kind of agree being a purist at heart. Thank you for pointing that out and that eyes are easy to replace...have never tried so a new challenge for me. |

Thanks Mike...I will have to learn on the duplicating of eyes as a bit new to me. Think a bit more of the log would be good too as i see what you mean it looks a bit tight so thanks for your suggestions. |

Amazing...i almost feel i am there with you! Great perspective on how you captured the image with the clouds coming towards you...you can almost touch them! Nice crop with the dirt road being off centre...for me i might have cropped even further on the right to cut out some of the blue sky. It looks nice with the dynamic contrast compared to the original. Really nice image. |

That is a great capture and an amazing Elk. We get them too where we live in Colorado but this one is impressive especially with his antlers. His colourings are wonderful with the contrast of his neck and face to the rest of his body. Good detail throughout and the background not distracting and the clearing behind almost mimicks the shape of his antlers! A great image. |
