Really interesting image and i really like the angle you took it at. To me i probably would have cropped in closer on the left hand side to get rid of the tree so to add more focus on the wall. Nice detailing being picked up in the bricks and would agree with Barbara and Carole about toning down the brightness with the Highlights slider. |

Very powerful image and accompanying slide show...thank you for sharing. Definitely thought provoking in just the single beam how it stands. Great capture against the blue sky and in symmetry with the flagpole...very moving. |

Very imaginative and a cute image! I love the folds in the blossom making it a very stylish cap. Intrigued by your light shaft which adds to the magical nature of the image. Connie is right it would make a nice Valentine's Day card. |

That is a great reflection and perfect composition with the mirror almost filling the frame. I like the way the light is reflecting on the car too. To me the only distraction is the writing on the mirror but difficult to avoid. Great image and nicely done. I have just got the IPhone 12 PRO Max so i will be trying out the camera... |

Thanks Barbara for your comments and yes was thinking the same about the brightness of the sky so will darken them and also bring up the red in the hood. |

What pretty flowers, love the colours. Very nice composition and not bothered about the flip...like them both ways! You have done a good job of the crop and i like the horizontal blinds behind the flowers. i might have toned down the background a bit to make it less bright so the flowers have all the attention. Good job on the lighting on the flowers. |

What a great image and good job on you with your creative skills! At first i thought you had photoshoped the stamens in but when i read your description i was even more impressed! I like the simple elegance and the bit of bling to add sparkly. Detailing in the glass is excellent and you have enough detail in the black lace giving it a sophisticated edge. Good job! |

Not an easy feat to capture this Kingfisher so good job. Great that you got the minnow in the shot as well. To me the the bright spot on the back of the neck is fine the way it is so no texturing needed and motion blur on the wings all good to depict motion. The crop that LC suggests is nice but think i prefer yours as too much space above the bird on his. Lovely image. |

He does look deep in thought..nice to have a moment like that! Love the light shaft capturing the details on the feathers enhancing their colour. To me a tad soft below the neck area but that maybe shooting through the window. I am amazed there is no lens flare as i find it difficult to shoot through glass. Anyway not a deal breaker for me and i do like the suspension of the bird on the branch... |

Good capture of the interaction of the two birds and like the detail and light in the feathers. I really like the movement and you can feel that the birds are engaging, telling a story. To me the background is too bright and my eye goes directly to it so i would see if i could tone that down to make the birds stand out more. Perhaps to lighten the birds eyes too especially the one on the right, i use the adjustment brush in Lightroom. |

A nice tranquil scene and good sharp focus on the trees. Like the soft reflection on the water. To me not quite sure what the centre of interest is or perhaps it doesn't need one other than a nice scenic scene of the autumn colours? i may have made the colors pop a bit more...i use Color Efex Pro with the skylight filter or tonal contrast which works for me. Two dust spots on the right hand side in the sky i see. |

What a treasured moment to capture this image. A wonderful closeness of an intimate moment between a mother and her chick. Great clarity in the eye of mother. The crop is nicely done and as you say gives more focus on the feeding behaviour. I might have toned down the background more with the vignette but not a very minor point and doesn't detract from the image. A great capture! |

What a wonderful vista....and a great place to be at sunrise. I like the Color image better than the monochrome. The golden colours of the sunrise accentuates the warmth of the rocks. They almost look as if they are in sepia. The clouds don't bother me and to me they add to the image. Definitely a competition winner. |
