12 Apr 20 Comment A tropical paradise of a different kind! Certainly brightens up the gas station.. Good that the sky is a dull grey otherwise would be competing with the trees so good diffused lighting. A great unusual pic and like that the vertical lines of the trees go nicely with the vertical lines of the gas station. Apr 17th
12 Apr 20 Comment What a great sunset and the flag poles look as if they are touching the sky! I really like the texture and patterns of the clouds...good light too. The 3 flag poles add great symmetry to the image. As you say it would have been nice if the wind had blown out the flags a bit especially the middle one but otherwise nice, Apr 16th

12 Apr 20 Comment An intriguing story...it is a good looking lighthouse! I like the way the lighthouse stands on its own...tall and strong. The small windows add detail and help to break up the uniformity of the lighthouse. Think if it was me i would have cropped a bit from the bottom...too much grass showing although i suppose that would alter the perspective. Carole has done a good job making the photo 'pop'...always difficult to shoot in the midday light.. Apr 15th
12 Apr 20 Comment I like the symmetry of this clock tower and the way one clock is in shadow and the other is in the light. The red brick tones nicely with the rest of the building. I might have allowed a bit more room at the top of the spire and just cropped out the branches on the right hand side. Apr 14th
12 Apr 20 Comment A perfect image for the assignment! I really like the angle you shot this monument (so good for you for crouching down in your car!) as it creates a powerful and simple photo leading your eye to the sky. The clouds add great definition too and context too. To me the tree on the left hand side is a bit distracting so wondered if the monument would look different shot from a different angle to not include the tree? Apr 14th
