Nicely composed; beautiful subject; perhaps the increased contrast in the eyes may be a bit strong for some, but as my grandmother used to say "the eyes are the windows of the soul" and in your photo I like the way contrast in the eyes helps to draw the viewer into the image. Nicely done! |

A great portrait shot. I like the raised hand in the pose. It creates a nice triangle between his eyes and the ring on his finger that helps to hold the viewers attention on the subject. Very surreal catch light in the eyes. For me, the contrast between the shadow on the subjects face and the highlight on the side of his head draw the viewers gaze away from the eye and toward the highlight. I would recommed toning down the highlight a little and taking out a little of the shadow. Over all, a great capture. |

An interesting interpretation of someone elses art. There is a significant difference from the original. I like the way you have enhanced the difference of image from it's background. Nicely done. |

Your ability to capture the emotion of the moment in a subtle, yet powerful way is wonderful. The lower contrast adds to the softness here. I thing monochrome works better for this photo. Sorry about the cat. |

Thanks for your comments. I have a printer that runs a little dark, so some of my images are a little high on the exposure scale. |
