62 Jan 19 Comment Gary,

You've introduced an interesting concept here. I've experimented with digitally processing medium format negatives a bit in the past using a similar process to yours. Your negative was nicely exposed and provides a good sharp image with lots of information options to work with. I enjoyed looking at all of the detail, but also wonder about how different cropping would look. This kind of photo would benefit from high quality photo paper.
I would encourage you to continue experimenting and look for images that take advantage of the medium format's size and potential for fine detail.

62 Jan 19 Comment A very interesting shot David. All of the elements in the composition are well balanced. I enjoy the complexity of the the piece. I like your idea of putting several ice shots together into a set. I would have liked to have seen some reference to winter or ice in the title. Overall a great concept nicely done. Jan 11th
62 Jan 19 Comment Thanks for you input Pndula. I've included the dog's feet and adjusted the exposure, and it does look better. Jan 9th
62 Jan 19 Comment An interesting abstract look Oliver. This is one of those photos that requires the viewer to spend some time taking in the overall sense and nuance of the photo. Unique and nicely done. Jan 3rd
62 Jan 19 Comment LuAnn,

I like the overall antique look to the photo. You've told a nice story. I only wish the subject was looking at a newspaper or book rather than the ubiquitous smartphone. The building back story was interesting too. Well done!

62 Jan 19 Comment I love the pose. It is very sensual, without being too overt. I like the way the model appears to blend into the background and the flower is a nice touch too. Nicely done. Jan 3rd
62 Jan 19 Comment LuAnn,

I agree about the white distractions. I will try to clean them up. Thank you for your insights and have a great New Year.

62 Jan 19 Comment Oliver,

Thanks for you comments. I never even notice that I had cropped off the dogs feet. I guess I was so focused on dog's nose nuzzling under the woman's hand and her loving expression that I lost track.
